I checked into my room on May 6 around 5 PM because my room was not ready at 3 PM. I went to bed around midnight and woke up (around 1:30 AM) to itching all over my arms. I called the front desk and the young girl offered another room because the manager was not working. I said no, changed my clothes, and left to the Holiday Inn. I filed a complaint on May 7 and received an automated email response stating, someone will get back to me within 24–48 hours. I did not hear from the manager (Kirsten) until May 10. She said that there was no charge for my stay but I would not be compensated for the items I left behind, my doctor bill, and the Holiday Inn bill. Even after I explained to her of being bitten numerous times by bed bugs all over my body and face.
