Eclectic and rustic motel but ok for the rate. Room was clean and quiet, woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Safe area with walkable bars and restaurants, easy to drive to the ******. Unfortunately the staff member in the breakfast area didn’t seem too engaged in his job. In fact we didn’t even realize he worked there until he advised on how the waffle maker works when he saw that I wasn’t exactly sure. He didn’t say much other than that or offer to make us eggs or anything. Or maybe you’re supposed to make them yourself, we really weren’t sure.

The Place Is antique, but not kept up, requires serious improvements, starting from the sanitation and cleanliness, definitely not au the normal European standards. Room were dirty, stinky, old carpet full of stains, pet friendly , we found a heir ball in the shower which was furnished with decrepit forniture. I would not recommend, unless you want to get sick 🤢.

I would not recommend this hotel. I found our room to be very old, outdated and the bathroom disgusting. On the form you complete when registering it states”do not put towels on the floor” hang them up. After looking at the bathroom floor it is obvious why, the floor is dirty! They did have a breakfast, but it was not kept up with the guests. There is no cable TV, just a streaming Ruko. No premium channels such as Netflex provided, no cable. I gave this hotel 2 stars because of its location. It is in walking distance to Florence’s historic district with restaurants, shops, and bars.

Carpet was dirty there was a big stain in the bathroom by the shower and it had not been swept outdated heater no air conditioning no coffee in the room and the coffee at breakfast was lukewarm at best and no waffle mix.No phone in room. No cable and wifi slowww. For the price I could have went somewhere alot better. Didn't realize what I was getting into I would never go back. The lady at the front desk was nice tho.

Only stayed one night on our way to Palm Springs. Check in was easy, front desk polite. The room was charming and well decorated, clean and comfortable. The problem again was the bathroom, needs some work and a better shower. How hard can it be to install a proper shower head with water pressure. The worst thing about this motel was the breakfast. It was inedible. Dry biscuits that you were supposed to smother in gravy, didn’t even go there, waffles you could make yourself but the batter tasted really weird, threw that away and back to Quaker oatmeal. The coffee was lukewarm and no cream for coffee. If you go, be prepared to go out for breakfast like we did, at least you know what you’re getting at the Golden Arches and the coffee is hot

Nice and quiet little hotel. I liked the convenient location. There is also new flooring in my room #3. There seemed to be a good amount of parking as I usually arrive late to hotels and have problems finding parking but this was not the case here. Management is very friendly and when I checked in I enjoyed looking at the birds that they had in the lobby. Great place, Historical, clean!

This motel was so awful that I feel it is my duty to leave a review. The room was facing the parking lot that was on a busy road. It was a sad room that had the feel of the kind of place people are found dead from an overdose. I think it was too expensive for that, but that’s the impression I got. As part of checking in I had to sign a unusually uptight agreement that gave me an even worse impression of the place. We left and went to the beach and during that time I decided that it was just too depressing to stay there. So we got a room at the Driftwood shores resort which cost about 40 % more but was literally 10 times better. It was too late to cancel so they still got my money. This is the kind of place you stay at when there is no room anywhere else, it’s late and you are too tired to notice the loud traffic sounds outside. Be kind to yourself and avoid this motel.

The hotel is old and showing it’s age but seemed to be clean and the owners were very nice and accommodating. We stayed in the adjoining rooms as there were 5 ladies travelling together and it was nice having the space. It’s location is great, right on the highway beside the bridge and an easy walk into Old Town for meals.
