Hotels with Breakfast in Florence

Local cheap hotels, normal motel level, Days is generally better. Breakfast has free coffee, cookies, and a banana. Bananas are the highlight of the Days I have stayed in. The overall service attitude is good, next to a highway, but not noisy, adjacent to Marriott. Walking around, it is relatively open, and there are many places to eat. This feels like a newer property and if this is a new layout for all Springhill Suites I will avoid them in the future. Here are the issues - Most Springhills have a counter area kitchenette. This one did not. It had a very small space for a fridge and microwave and that’s it. - There was no nightstand on one side of the bed. This is a HUGE inconvenience as there is no place to put eyeglasses, to put your phone, to keep a bottle of water. It costs so little to put a basic nightstand, why in earth choose not to do it - The toilet is in one very small space with a TINY sink. The shower is in a completely different room. I have never seen this before and it was very inconvenient - The wife was not working properly during our stay. I tried for 15 minutes to log in and it never worked. Walked down to the front desk and was told they were having issues and they told us a code to use for log in. First of all, if they knew there were issues they should have told us when we checked in. Secondly, the code did not give me the higher speed internet I am supposed to get for free as a Platinum member of their rewards program. Finally, the internet service was noticeably slow at times during our stay. - The pillows on the king bed were also very small. I’ve never seen hotel pillows this small before. Another terrible place to be cutting cost - on the Bonvoy App, it allows you to make special requests before arriving. We requested 2 days xtra pillows and an extra bottle of lotion via the app. The pillows would have been especially helpful given the miniature size of the pillows on the bed. This hotel COMPLETELY IGNORED those requests. I will say the folks at the front desk were friendly and the hotel is in a convenient location. My wife and I are having a house built in the area and had this hotel been acceptable, we would have stayed there in all our future trips during the 6-8 months of construction. However, given how they have cut corners on the room layout and amenities, and the fact that they ignored our requests made via the app, I have already booked another hotel for our upcoming trip

Staff was very friendly, courteous. and they even baked cookies for our crew after we came in too late to go out to eat. Adriane and Jeff were over the top. We will definitely come back when we go to the Ark/ Creation Museum. Rooms were great, very clean and they welcomed our little shiatzu.

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. The guys at the front desk were really great and took time to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Very nice hotel. One of the workers brightened our night the first night. Really appreciated it. Thank you

Amazing hotel, but awful staff in the AM. This hotel is modern, well maintained, clean rooms, and has everything you need. Great bar and restaurant, with friendly staff. The bartender was our waiter in the restaurant and very friendly. Buffett server was awesome. But the two ladies at the front desk Friday 6/22 at 7:00am were awful (blonde lady and another lady with shaved sides of head) I asked to see if I had breakfast in my reservation. One said she wasn’t logged in and couldn’t help, the other helped some guy that cut the line in front of me. When that guy left, I’m still waiting for simple help and got none. So just went to my breakfast. I would give it 5 stars if not for the unfriendly and lazy workers. Manager, take note. You are better than this.

It was nice to have a spacious living room and kitchen. It's quiet around, but it's good to shop around the commercial area. I recommend it.

Motel style, just pass by and stay for one night. Nothing special. Environment: Just barely passable, the lobby is small and feels crowded. Service: There is a tattooed strong man at the front desk, which is quite special. I don’t know if he is ruthless or not, but he doesn’t talk much.

Our family has outgrown standard hotel rooms and to get a suite at any other hotel would cost an arm and a leg, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel hit our price range AND could accommodate our large family. The rooms were clean, large, and well maintained and the beds were pretty comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were able to comfortably fit our family of 6 (which included one teen, 2 kids, and one infant in a pack-n-play) in our room. There was no tub, just a large shower which was nice and all sorts of kitchen utensils in the kitchen so you had everything you needed to eat in instead of eating out. The clientele seemed to range from business people and utility/construction workers, to large families and those just passing through. Everyone was considerate and the hotel seemed well suited to accommodate everyone and their lodging needs. The facilities were clean and well maintained—the elevators were quick, pool was clean (though a little on the small side) and the work out room was nice as well. They were back to serving regular breakfast in the dining area which was a nice surprise as they had a lot of great options aside from the typical waffles (breakfast sandwiches/yogurt/etc). Everything was clean in the public spaces as well, with plenty of seating and charging spaces in the lobby to play cards or do some work. The location was about 30 mins from the Ark and just over the bridge from Cincinnati. It is minutes from numerous restaurants and fast food joints, shopping venues, and grocery stores. Overall, great experience—especially for the room price point!!! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!
