Very welcoming, very comfortable, very quiet, very relaxing. We had a huge room, very well laid out and designed, which kept the nature and age of the building intact while incorporating all the modern amenities one would expect. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Large bed, very comfortable with lovely pillows. Really good selection at breakfast, and the full English was perfectly cooked and delicious. All the staff were lovely, very friendly. Yes, the building is old and shows some tired edges, and some areas could do with a little updating; however, there appears to be some work going on to rectify this, and it certainly didn't detract from our visit. We only stayed for one night, but wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were in the area.

What a lovley hotel, the staff are amazing, my room wasn’t ready, but as I had a wedding to go to they got me as soon as they could, which was fantastic, being Eid there taxis were very limited, however they go me one right away. They all made you feel welcome. The room was spotless, the shower was dripping and was told it would be fixed whilst I was out. Which it was when I got back, however it started dripping early morning, but it didn’t bother me. The bed was super comfy. Next time I visit family , I will be 100% staying here.

The welcome as we stepped through the door was amazing, and all members of staff were friendly and helpful throughout the weekend. This is a hotel with a long history, and full of character and charm. Ownership has recently changed and they will admit that repairs and renovations are needed and intended over time, but each and every room is different and we had a wonderful stay in a lovely room complete with four poster bed. We had booked a Gourmet Getaway first night to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and were not disappointed. The dinner choices of lamb and steak were delicious, as were starters and desserts. While we were there, a small wedding reception was held and everything looked perfect for the wedding party. Unlike some hotels we have stayed at, the wedding did not have any adverse affect on other guests. Thank you everyone at the Manor.

We stayed for just one night but in the short time we were there we were so impressed with the staff. Everyone is really friendly and nothing is a bother to them. Charlotte served us at breakfast and although the food was great, Charlotte made the experience excellent, she definitely deserves a pay rise! The great staff and beautiful grounds made for a great stay

This afternoon 4 of us went for a lovely afternoon tea , I don’t often review but just want my gluten free buddies to get my opinion on the afternoon tea. I’ve tended to avoid afternoon tea as a GF person it’s always seemed like you might miss out on elements or just have dry tasteless items. ( I had a gluten free scone at another very well known and higher priced venue once that I can only describe as trying to eat a tennis ball) I was so delighted with Flitwick Manor , we told them in advance I was gluten free and they confirmed on arrival they had my separate order before we even prompted and asked. My gluten free afternoon tea came out on a separate platter with no less than 4 puddings and a scone - I’ll post a pic , I was given my own clotted cream pot and cutlery. Of course the sarnies as well were on safe bread and were delicious. Beef the best . Aside of GF the service was perfect our waitress was a delight, friendly and warm and there was bottomless tea and coffee with the choice of regular tea another 8 or so herbal options and all of the coffee choices you would expect. And all this guys for £26. A delight, I’d go again and recommend to everyone, the place itself is small and intimate but this means they can deliver excellent service. I know the world is getting better at gluten free and their understanding of it but I still do sometimes feel like the odd one out asking for separate menus and quizzing on ingredients worried about what reaction you get from the staff if anything at Flitwick manor I was made to feel included. If your GF and in the area take the time to go it’s a little treat we don’t often get to experience.

het hotel is een oude Manor en staat er nog in zijn volle glorie. De buitenkant en binnenkant zijn geweldig, de kamers, netjes, proper, volledig uitgerust, en zo'n rust in een park, geweldig. ook het eten (avond en ontbijt) waren uitermate volledig verzorgd en van heel goede kwaliteit, als ik de buurt moet zijn, dan weet ik waar ik opnieuw boek

Stayed for 1 night bed and breakfast. Hotel staff were excellent. Welcoming, friendly and professional. Room and bed were comfortable and very peaceful, which was great. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you again to all and we look forward to returning very soon. Can highly recommend.
