We went for a birthday weekend and it did it disappoint. We were upgraded to a suite in the loft of the building and it was so large and had its own front room. The meals here were substantial although the restaurant was a little noisy with outside non residents coming in to celebrate over a meal. The best thing was the spa. We have hot stones massage and a full body massage both of us said how good it was. Lauren and Lois were excellent. The facilities are not big but lovely and clean and tidy. The outside covered hot tub was fab too. Small sauna and steam room which were ok and I’d you like a gym there is a fully fitted one with great views over the estuary. All in all a fab two night break and we look forward to going back again soon. Give it a try.

We stayed at the hotel overnight with spa treatment, evening meal and breakfast the next day included. The welcome from the lady on reception was perfect. She told us we had been upgraded to a superior room which included a late check out the following day. As far as we are aware this was just a kind act and it really was appreciated. The spa treatments were up there with the best we have had, and we have visited lots of spas all over the country. We both had a 50 minute full body massage and a 25 minute indian head massage. The ladies who carried out the treatments were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. The outdoor hot tub was spacious and gave us time to relax and unwind. My husband used the gym and sauna/steam room which were all great. Evening meal amd breakfast were both very good and we had the best night's sleep we've had in ages! We would definitely return!

We stayed here just for the one night and we could not fault anything The room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly We ate in the restaurant and again the food was very good and well priced We would definitely recommend this hotel

Always first class service and amazing food . A great meet up for friends and the staff are extremely pleasant and top quality . A must to visit . Visited this hotel over the years and it gets better each time . Seating area outside which is very peaceful . Food is A* and the yummy dessert in the photo wasn’t even on the menu . Biscuits with coffee are hand made

A very pleasant stay, clean room friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was very good quality and reasonably priced. The on site gym was very modern and clean. This is a rare example of a hotel which values its customer experience. I would definitely recommend.

A good stay.
The only thing that spoilt it was closing the restaurant early. The menu says food available until 21:30 on Friday and Saturday and they stopped taking orders at 9.

Rooms are comfortable, well decorated and homely. staff are friendly and very welcoming. The food menu is extensive offering a good wide range of individually cooked food that should not be missed. To complete the stay a spa / well equipped gym what more could you ask for?
