Super 8 by Wyndham Asheville Airport

They are remodeling and we got a great "pet friendly" king size bedroom with a great hot shower, thick towels, very clean and quite. Not a showplace...yet, but a great value in a convenient location. We were here as FEMA transplants temporarily and they were one if the first local hotels to offer a room...many thanks ＞＜))))＞

We pulled into this hotel and could immediately tell that the property was not a family environment. Rooms smell horribly like cigarette smoke and there was constant cars in and out but the people never got out of the cars. Draw your own conclusions 😳

We checked in and went to the room that REEKED of smoke and was filthy. I went to get another room. It also REEKED of smoke. Furniture was ripped and stained. The curtains were duck taped. This rooms have not been painted in 20 years. Use your imagination and it's worse than that. Sheets had BURN HOLES in them. Toilet wouldn't flush. There was a random earring on the bedside table. I presumed if I made it alive until the morning (super scary clientele) that I would wake with lice, bed bugs and fleas. In my 57 years of life this is the nastiest place I've ever stayed. The 2nd worse was also a Super 8. Lesson learned. There was NO breakfast as advertised. Clerks apologized for NOTHING. I can't believe the prices they charge for this dump. When I reported to corporate all they offered was they would report to Management.

This establishment has taken leave. My Guests found contraband and smoky rooms and grimy surfaces. The quality control at this location has gone to zero. Do not book here.

Clean enough. Missing sink and tub stoppers. Missing smoke detector. No shower curtain or rod. Sparsely stocked. No freezer. Fridge & micro not plugged in. Furniture okay. Absolutely NOT worth the money they charge.

This hotel is horrible!!! Rooms were not cleaned there was pet hair all over our bed and floors. Bathrooms were disgusting! Our neighbors were fighting and kids were yelling all night!! There were roaches everywhere. Staff did nothing to help situation.

Don't recommend, won't stay here again. This was a unique trip or I would have booked elsewhere, but we decided to try it. The pictures aren't what you will actually see when you arrive. Looked like they have weekly residents vs nightly guests. Old, an attempt at updating the floors?
