Very poor customer service - Gift vouchers not honoured- Very poor service and pushed from one person to the next…………..

I can’t remember seeing such a varied amount of activities and facilities for kids (and us too), from their cinema room to the tennis courts, the escape room to the skittle alley - not to mention their warehouse sized “play barn”. The staff were delightful and it had a friendly welcoming atmosphere throughout

Held both my daughters birthday parties here. One of the daughters 13 and the other one 10. They both had spa days with some friends, treatments and lunch. The staff are fantastic, facilities brilliant and lunch lovely! Only positives to say, absolutely wonderful!! Highly recommend!!

I returned to moonfleet manor after 11 years with my children, having spent my eldest son’s 1st birthday at Moonfleet - I have great memories of that time and remember it was a perfect stay. Am pleased to say 11 years later nothing has changed and it is still as wonderful as ever. Parking is so easy, no long walk to get into the hotel like other places. Greeted by the lovely Emma, we were made to feel very welcomed. The hotel looked stunning with lots of lounge areas, beautiful grounds and so relaxing. My son enjoyed feeding the guinea pigs and rabbits, the staff member was so lovely and friendly. The kids went swimming- there are three pools divided up by depth which is great, allowing older kids and stronger swimmers to segregate from the younger ones, this was good for us as our party was for older kids. The outdoor area has badminton, park, sandpit, and more. The view of the coast is amazing and there is a vegetable garden to peruse too. It was a very calming place to be. The den was amazing - climbing wall, soft play, trampoline, arcades, ping pong, pool, gaming room, football pitch, pinball, air hockey, and more- amazing!!!! The kids spent a lot of time there, it was great as they could play there until late at night. There was indoor golf, skittle alley, snooker room, tennis, escape room and more. We were there a week but still didn’t cover it all! We loved the little touches like the milk and cookies (never too old!) and popcorn that could be eaten in the cute cinema room. Our room was lovely, perfect in fact.spacious and massive bed, really comfy and lots of storage space. Housekeeping deserve a special mention, they were brilliant at our extra requests and the rooms were spotless and tidy each day. Staff in the restaurant were amazing. Special mention to Tia who was really welcoming and friendly, and entertained patiently our endless requests for hash browns! Tom also deserves a commendation - he went the extra mile for us so many times and the kids really liked him he was so friendly. He even made an off menu coke float for my son and it was great to see he was almost as enthusiastic about it as my child! He is a credit to the hotel. We had a problem in that our car broke down and everyone on the hotel was so helpful and accommodating. Wendy was really lovely and helpful when we were in a pretty bad situation waiting for the AA and very calming. I cannot fault our stay it felt like I was at home, with the most welcoming and lovely people around us. The hotel was fully booked but we often had entire areas to ourselves, it’s so spacious that there is no room for over crowding. The whole place is designed for families and is perfection. The only comment I would make for improvement are as follows but they are very very minor indeed 1. Breakfast was lovely but perhaps a bit repetitive as we stayed a week. Some variation during the week would have been optimal. 2. The food is lovely and tasty however perhaps the adult portions could

We recently went for my mother in law’s 80th birthday. We’d been looking for somewhere that catered for three generations including 3 kids aged 10 to 16 and stumbled upon this hotel. We booked 2 x two bedroom suites and a single room. The pros - the play barn was a big hit with the kids - particularly the indoor football pitch - great variety of family friendly activities including the pool, squash and Padel tennis - location was great - the lounges were nice and family games dotted around the place were a nice touch - staff were very friendly The less positive - it was very expensive for what we got - we didn’t think it was value for money by a long way - we paid £1250 for 2 nights for one of the 2 bedroom rooms. It was up in the eaves and we were greeted by a very noisy, bulky air con unit on the hottest day of the year which we couldn’t have on at night as it was so noisy - my husband struggled with ceiling height in our room (particularly the bathroom) as he’s 6 foot 1 - we weren’t warned about this and it just became annoying - neither of the two bedrooms in our suite had anywhere to sit and dry hair and there were no mirrors in either room apart from the bathroom. I ended up drying my hair using my phone as a mirror - didn’t expect this in a room which is costing over £600 a night. - no wardrobes in either of the 2 bedrooms - our bathroom had glass panelled door so you could see everyone in the bathroom - not ideal for body conscious teenagers! - service was very slow on occasions - there is no bar and we were told there was only one barman - to order a drink you had to sit and wait in one of the lounges and hope someone came to take your order. If they did, service was very slow! Overall we had a lovely weekend together but it didn’t feel like good value for money and we wouldn’t rush back.

This hotel is only suitable for families it should clearly state that it is not suitable for couples solo adults or groups of adults. This hotel try’s to have ‘two bites of the apple’ and ends up with very disappointed guests not to mention wasting their money and time when they could of booked somewhere more suitable. There are children everywhere! including toddlers in just nappies wondering around the lounge! we booked as a couple absolutely not appropriate, unless you want to be in a nursery/playground environment all the time including the dining room and in all communal areas.

Another fantastic family holiday to Moonfleet Manor. This was our 12th time to the hotel and we were in the rooms nearest the pool area which was a new experience for us. Our room was so spacious which is perfect for our family. The amenities, staff and food are all stunning. We are already looking at dates for May half-term next year.

Went recently for a family break. Young kids, parents, grandparents. Was fantastic. It’s really built for families, so if you don’t like young kids enjoying themselves, then it’s not for you. Staff and facilities were amazing. Rooms well equipped. Only watch out is the food is quite pricey for what it is. Thank you.
