Kondalilla Eco Resort

Guests praise the cleanliness and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location near Kondalilla National Park provides easy access to natural attractions.

From the photos we were expecting quiet cabins surrounded by nature. There is nature/forest off the balcony. But the cabins are not private. You are in close proximity to others. Leave your curtains open and we felt as though we were in a fish bowl. Cars parking behind us. People walking behind us. Cabins next to us could see in. The cabins were in need of a good clean. Mould all over them. I know it's in a rainforest area but for how much you pay I think they should be better maintained. I'm sick of resorts demanding you take out rubbish and wash dishes/glasses or a cleaning fee will be charged. It's not airbnb it was a resort. A very expensive night I don't want to pay all that money to empty rubbish and wash a couple of glasses. It always makes me question the cleanliness of the glasses as people may not put them through a dishwasher or wash them properly. Super comfortable bed (we like a soft bed) , nice staff. The restaurant was excellent. Accom worth the money?... no it wasn't.

Nice place Lovely place, we stayed in a family room. Beds were very comfortable. The only negative thing was that the water pumps sounded a bit from time to time. Very convenient to walk to the national park just next door. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open as we were there (only weekends), it looked lovely. Only one pool was heated as I could see. At our departure day we saw a koala walk by our little house and climb a tree! 🐨😍
