Crab Pot Cottage

Crab Pot Cottage is a very comfortable and tastefully decorated B&B, complimented with a very special host, Katrina, who couldn't do enough for us! Breakfasts were amazing, sausage and bacon locally sourced from an excellent butcher, and perfectly cooked poached eggs. The cottage is conveniently located between an amazing chippy, and a wonderful pub! We had a superb stay here, and looking forward very much to returning later this year.

A beautiful place to stay, Katrina made us feel so welcome! The breakfasts are so nice and nothing is too much trouble! The rooms are clean and very comfortable! Our bathroom was huge and lovely! Handy for places to eat, an amazing Fish and Chip shop is a few doors away!!! We can’t wait to return!

Located in the High Street so if visiting Flamborough Head its ideally situated. Few places to eat nearby so on our short stay it was the ideal location, parking outside pretty easy too but probably more difficult in high season period. Lovely cottage, nice clean well tended rooms, shower and toilet and comfortable beds. With full breakfast included it offers very good value for the visiting tourist. Only a few minutes drive down to South, North and Lighthouse car parks. The puffins had gone but lots of seals! The host and staff very welcoming and helpful .... Thank you .... Would recommend.

After nine months of winter, summer finally broke out a smile, to coincide with our stay at the Crab Pot Cottage. We received a warm welcome from Katrina, who whisked our luggage up the cottage's steep stairs. I should say that the steps are no steeper than ours at home. They aren't as wide, which made it slightly harder for my large feet. Our room was a good size, though the bathroom was bijou. The bed faces the window, which gets the morning sun, so either blackout curtains or a blackout blind would make a great deal of difference. Pretty much everything else that you need is available. The little fan did an admirable job when sat next to it but couldn't cope with the heat in the room, even when accompanied by the big Shark fan that we brought with us. It's nice to see the sunshine when you are out and about but it makes sleeping difficult through the night. Breakfasts were delicious and served between 8 and 9. The cottage is ideally situated for the amenities that Flamborough has to offer. Street parking is usually busy but we had no problem parking in the spacious area to the rear. Payments are no longer taken by card, in order to maintain reasonable room prices; so it is either cash or bank transfer. Better to know in advance. We had a really enjoyable stay and look forward to returning at some point. Room 3 would be ideal, if only it had a shower cubicle instead of a bath/shower.

Unbelievable value for money . Great hosts and one of the best breakfasts . The location is to die for . You couldn’t get more central in the chocolate box picturesque village of Flamborough .Ample parking too . The rooms have everything you need . I cannot recommend highly enough and look forward to a return visit.
