If you go to Flam, the epitome of Norway, in winter, you must book a train station pick-up service. It costs 150kr/time. It is really tiring to drag your suitcase for one kilometer on the snowy road. Summer doesn't matter.
The room is pretty good, self check-in, clean and cheap, with everything you need.

Appartement ungepflegt, besonders die Küchenzeile. Keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeit. Gastgeber sehr unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereit, Die Lage viel zu weit vom Ort, keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeit, ohne Auto gar nicht zu empfehlen.

We booked because it was described as quiet overlooking beautiful scenery. The scenery was correct but when we arrived someone was setting up a marquee in the field. When we asked the receptionist Alexia what it was she said it was some corporate thing. When we got back at 6pm there was a 30th birthday party in full swing with very loud thud thud music. Alexia had clearly misled us. The music went on until midnight but the noise didn’t stop until 2am. The proprietors had also allowed the party goers to use our shared bathroom! So all night I could just hear people peeing and talking loudly in the toilet as well as the loud music. We complained to Alexia the next day. She couldn’t see anything wrong with it and called my wife annoying for complaining. She was very rude and wouldn’t tell us the name of her boss. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

This was a one night stay for 5 of us. We had everything we needed, it was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The views are amazing, its a wonderful way to start the day! I'd stay here again!

Wonderful, cozy apartment in a beautiful , scenic location. The apartment is located just a short walk from the center of Flåm, so you have easy access to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that the town has to offer.
