A delightful location in a beautiful setting-- not yet discovered by American tourists. We spent a wonderful day here--hiking the island, eating delicious food, and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. The service at the restaurant and inn was friendly and welcoming. The Weather Islands are gorgeous and seem relatively undiscovered, at least by those outside of Sweden or Norway. We're told that summer can be popular with sailors, but May was delightful! We shared a ferry ride over with just a few other Swedish tourists and practically had the island to ourselves.

Location: Absolutely stunning and unique in the archipelago west of Hamburgsund/Fjellbacka . Boat transport included In packages or can be booked for daytrippers as well. Cross open sea, so can be a bit bumpy. Dogs allowed on deck Rooms: various options, with or without private barhroom. Our room with bathroom had a very comfortable bed, hodet the room also was not much bigger than the bed. Not a problem on a sunny day as you dom’t come here to spend time in your room. However don’t bring more things than absolutely needed! Dogs allowed in some rooms, ask on booking if available.. Food: packages include all meals, otherwise meals can be bought from the restaurant and drinks from the bar, Menu focus on sea food/fish and food was good. Packages included 3 options for lunch, set menu for dinner. The Vegetarian in the company had adviced of that in advance, however the vegetarian option was more or less same food both for both lunch and dinner (torteloni with basil/pesto). Packages did not include dessert/coffe. Notice that you are charged Sek 25. for a caraffe of water Activities: package included sauna/hot tubs. Not tried. However did not like the location more or less in the middle of the outdoor cafe. Swimming possible also at other places. Hiking with panoramic views recommended. See the sunset from the sea pilots watch is highly recommended! A unique place to visit, However in the middle of summer, there is a lot of staying guests, daytrippers and visitors from boats/guest harbour. Staff sometimes seemed to have their hands a bit too full to cope with everything. Given its location dependent on supplies by boat, it is expected to be pricey. However I feel that it doesn’t really give full value for money for the rather expensive packages.

I went with a group of Swedes and my brother. To start, the weather was not very hospitable. High winds and rain didn’t make this the ideal experience- however it was one I’ll never forget. We started with some time in the hot tub and sauna. Such a great experience and one that was memorable. Going into the ocean was a highlight- given how cold it was. Walking around the island also brought a sense of nostalgia- having spent a lot of time on the Maine coast as a child. You feel like you’re in a different world. The rooms were small but quaint. Sleeping quality was ok. The sound of the ocean hitting the rocks was sleep inducing. The restaurant was fantastic. Great dinner and nice accommodations for breakfast in the morning. I’d love to go back there someday. For someone like myself with no expectations, I was quite impressed.
