The hotel is part of a monastery complex where monks are still active. The hotel rooms are spacious, former monastic cells. The hotel is strongly reminiscent of a Spanish parador. The rooms are modern and spacious. The double beds are large and perfect. The shower is large, I estimate 1 x 2 meters, and also fabulous (no bathtub). You can wander around this hotel and never tire of looking at it. It's an experience.

Great stay here at this calm monastery. Lots of walking and hiking trails, great restaurant and breakfast. Had a great beer at the Brauerei that is very close. Shower was spacious and plenty of warm water.

Wirklich einmaliges Hotel! 50% des Hauses noch aktives Kloster 50% wundervoll hergerichtet als Hotel & Restaurant.
Man merkt und sieht die Historie es ist aber alles hochwertig und gut ausgestattet.

Sehr gut sanierte Klosteranlage. Zimmer modern eingerichtet. Bad auf neuestem Niveau.
Personal sehr freundlich insbesondere im Restaurant. Einziger Wunsch ein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer wäre wünschenswert.

Peaceful stay. Pricey but very good restaurant in the cloister. Monks’ brewery very cool. Beers tasty. Area around the cloister is lovely. Wildflowers galore in May.
