Amilla Maldives

Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April. Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in. Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla. They are worth every penny.

Excellent Service from everyone in the resort. Luxury feel.

We recently returned from Amilla Fushi. It was absolutely an incredible trip from beginning to end. We stayed in a 2 bed beach villa with our 3 kids (11, 9 and 7) and had a huge amount of space. The villa was left impeccable every day by Dudu who was also so talented at sand and reed art and left so many beautiful memories for us! We were close to the jetty and loved spending time there, and the reef on that side was insane. A huge variety of colourful fish and a warm gentle current that just carries you across the reef to the other end. Snorkeling excursions were also excellent. We saw sharks and so many turtles and the staff on board are all wonderful. They have your mask washed and ready and the moment you’re out of the water they hand you a cold water bottle (glass, it’s all eco friendly). Our katheeba was Ny and she looked after us so well. Our kids adored her and she made them feel so special and took them off to show them parts of the island on the golf cart. Kids Club staff are so caring and kind and said farewell to the kids with unique locally made gifts. Our 7yo loved kids club, he would be happy staying all day, the activity schedule was great. Our older son loved the daily football camp with the island coach. Food was fabulous, so much variety at breakfast. The wellness focus was so perfectly done, lots of healthy options and huge selection of fresh foods. Every meal was great, kids meals had fresh and healthy options, our favourite restaurants were Barolo and Feeling Koi but they were all good. Staff like Sarojini and Shahbaj made us so welcome but all the staff were great. Spa is gorgeous, my treatments there were awesome. Fire and light shows were memorable. And we loved the jungle gym and riding our bikes around the island. One area for improvement would be the EBC area, that all looks a bit tired and it was really quiet for our stay, hard to find staff and the Zero Proof bar was shut the whole time. Otherwise we adored Amilla, we can’t wait to return!
