Perfectly Splendid.
Had a lovely weekend stay at the hotel. The rooms are adequately sized with the whole "chalet vibe" and a view of the snow covered mountains through the balcony (don't forget to ask for the mountain facing rooms) !
More than enough storage space and decently done bathrooms. The hosts are very pleasant and happy to share local tips. My only gripe is that the breakfast could be better value (but I still suggest to take it, since there aren't really any other options around)

Julia et Pierre ont ete des hotes parfaits pour mon sejour de trois nuits dans cet hotel neuf. Acommodement pour delicieux petit dejeuner. Grande chambre d'une proprete impeccable. Machine a cafe. Restaurant et epicerie au rez-de chausse. Distance de marche de la gare. Sejour tres apprecie surement le meilleur de mon voyage de deux semaines en Suisse. Pierre m'a donne une foule de renseignements uitles. J'y retournerai surement.

Friendly welcome, large room, clean and functionally furnished. The breakfast was good and with fine and fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to the train station, starting point for various hikes.

I thought I must let other members know of our experience at a recent visit to this hotel situated in the charming village of Filisur in the Swiss Alps. Our two adjacent rooms were more than satisfactory although a little dated. My main message to all visitors concerns the breakfasts. Do not expect to be sustained by the pathetic offerings put before us during our four night stay.I list the following . 1.No toaster available 2.Coffee machine had the hot plate off hence no warm coffee after 15 minutes. 3.Mixed fruit was tinned.No fresh fruit in site. 4.The Corn Flakes were stale and surely out of date. 5.Constant need to ask for support as the owner hardly ever appeared.eg more milk I could go on but I hope you have the picture. What a shame to report this as we left the hotel on our tour around the Alps seeking food. As no fridge was provided in our rooms we spent a lot in the Coop just to buy the things needed to start the day. Just be warned that this hotel is in my opinion the worst I have had the misfortune to visit for not providing the breakfasts we were charged for.
