Our third visit, we're like boomerangs as we keep coming back! Sam & Diane are the perfect hosts; and as others have said their accommodation is spotless. A great breakfast is also guaranteed and sets you up for the day. Highly recommended.

A real friendly Yorkshire welcome awaits you from Sam & Diane. Nothing is too much trouble for this pair. Rooms are comfortable with flat screen TV & tea & coffee facilities. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. Athol House is conveniently situated for shops, beach & nearby country park. Definitely a gem in Riley's crown.

We’ve stayed at 5* hotels that can’t match this B&B! The cleanliness, breakfasts, hospitality and location is first class. The hosts just can’t do enough to make your stay a memorable one . Our first visit but not the last! We can highly recommend Athol House .

Our 5th stay and the Victoria room is superb A good size shower space with a quality shower and easy to use.little touches fresh flowers in breakfast room. Fresh milk at your door afternoon. The rooms Prepared perfect after your day out. The food at breakfast and choices 5 star Nothing is too much trouble and Diane and Sam are so helpfull and realy make it the perfect stay in filey., top tip ring direct and early.

What a lovely place to stay, breakfast is smashing and is immaculate throughout. Rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a great base for exploring the area and beyond, lots of information leaflets dotted about to help. Parking was easy and plentiful in the street. Just beware of the seagull droppings and don't park under the tree opposite!

Great stay host very friendly breakfast was delicious Room was perfect for our needs Beware of seagull noise ear plugs were provided but expected near the coast easy access to the beach down steps or sloped walk. We walked to Filey Brigg when the tide was out beautiful coastal walk plenty of bars and restaurants close by

Sam and Diane were the perfect hosts. They couldn’t have been more helpful and genuine nice people. The room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Fresh milk delivered everyday. Breakfast was superb, shout out for the mushrooms, the best I’ve ever had.!

Our second stay at this high-quality guest house - a great four-day break. Standards of comfort and cleanliness cannot be faulted and Sam's breakfasts are just the best. Sam and Diane are wonderful, friendly hosts. When visiting Filey we look no further than Athol House. Pete and Gloria
