I stayed at Costa de Prata 1. Lovely clean hotel, had a large room with a view over the sea and a great breakfast. The beds were a bit soft. We took our evening meals at Prata 2, the sister hotel. The food was not good, especially for vegetarians. Figueira is not a place to visit in October, as most things are shut down and it rains incessantly. Still warm though and the huge seas are impressive.

Positivo: -Quarto com boas áreas e decoração agradável. -Bom pequeno almoço em buffet.( ovos mexidos, bacon, etc) -Sossegado -Pessoal prestável Negativo: -O quarto estava sujo ( cabelos no chão, beatas na janela, cabelo numa almofada) -Após limpeza, feita por uma pessoa da recepção, porque não havia ninguém da limpeza no hotel, melhorou ligeiramente… ficou tudo cheio de cotão -No pequeno almoço, muitas mesas sujas, apenas 2 empregadas -Tem de se marcar a hora do pequeno almoço

The room is good. The view is great. The staff too. The hygiene items, a sample of shampoo and a mini soap, insufficient and of poor quality, lack a mini bar, a kettle, it's a 4 star! The breakfast is very poor, just one type of bread, a mini croissant that most people leave, the juices, just water, no fresh fruit, not up to 4 stars.

I had been to this hotel with the whole family a few years ago and it was a simple and pleasant hotel. On this visit everything changed, new decoration and remodeling in all areas. A superior room with a balcony and very pleasant sea views. Very good and varied breakfast for a three star hotel, with timely replacement. Attentive staff

This hotel is in a very good location and is very clean. We ended up staying 2 weeks because this hotel is in close proximity to the place I had business to conduct. However, if you like to avoid bumping into your luggage when walking in the room I'd advise perhaps another hotel because the room we stayed at was nice and clean but really small. I may be wrong but juddging from the plan on the wall, all rooms seemed to be small. There was zero place to put the luggage. We had to leave it on the floor against the wall and be careful when walking or else we'd bump into the luggage. Like all hotels around, there is no parking but close to this hotel, you may be able to find free parking. We did for the whole time we stayed there and that is mostly why we decided not to move the luggage around to another hotel. Originally, I wanted to travel to other locations (rented a car) but the business I had to do postponed the appointments and we extended the stay here. If you somehow find yourself in a similar situation do yourself a favor by going online and purchase your extended stay online because if, like I did (for 2 night only) go to the front desk and ask for an extension, they ding you right there. I kid you not we paid 30 euros more for EACH of the 2 nights we extended and for the same room. Right after, I found that I needed yet to stay longer, then, went online and booked the same room for 30 euros per night less than I paid at the front desk. Overall was a good stay even though the breakfast, in my view, should include some regional sweets. If you travel by car do a search because some hotels we stayed at do offer that.
