Mahdoton löytää ilman apua
Riad oli siisti ja nukuin hyvin. Rakennus oli hyvin korkea ja huoneessani sängyn kohdalla sisäkorkeus oli varmaan 5 metriä, ellei enemmänkin. Huone oli hienosti koristeltu. Vessa oli rakennettu huoneeseen "kakkoskerrokseen" tekemällä huoneen sisälle kierreportaat, joiden yläpäässä vessa oli. Sinne ei ollut erillistä ovea.
Riadia oli mahdoton löytää ilman apua. Sen ovea ei ollut merkitty mitenkään ja ovi näytti enemmän joltakin varaston ovelta. Paikalliset tietysti auttoivat tippiä vastaan.

From the outside it is an inconspicuous door, from the inside it is an oriental palace. It is located in the middle of the Medina with all sights within walking distance. The rooms are all different, in the morning there is breakfast and on request in the evening dinner. It was delicious and every day very surprising. You can eat downstairs in the hall or upstairs on the terrace with a beautiful view over Fez. Walked through the narrow streets with a guide, it is incredible.

Just perfect. A sumptuous decor, an unparalleled welcome, a wonderful cook... We had a perfect stay in this unusual and timeless riad. Not to be missed if you are in Fez because this place and the hosts deserve to be known.

The location was in a 400-year old building which wasn't marked at all. Just an unmarked door which looked like someone's home. Locals on the street (who were after tips) helped us find the riad. Inside it was beautiful and also my room was very nicely decorated. I had a large comfortable bed and slept well. There was quite a long staircase to my room and even within the room there was a staircase for the bathroom. In the shower there was only cold water. There were no power sockets near the bed and overall there were only two sockets in the whole room plus one in the bathroom. The breakfast was good. The riad seemed to be a family business with two generations working in it. The younger generation spoke English.
