Love this hotel for an easy location not far from the beach. Hands down the best biscuits at breakfast as well from any hotel I’ve ever been to!

The room facilities are complete, the front desk service is enthusiastic, the parking lot is large, the hotel is very close to the I-10 highway, and there are restaurants, supermarkets, and gas stations across the hotel. I often stay in this hotel.

The reception staff was fantastic, and everything in the room was fine. However, the 3-star rating is for breakfast. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was served until 10 a.m. The reality is different. We arrived for breakfast at 9 a.m., and they were already clearing away the waffle makers and most of the breakfast. By 9:15 a.m., everything was being cleaned and locked up.

Thoroughly disappointing. Despite a great location and the inn not being responsible for the weather (storms and rain) we could hardly sleep for the lights and noise of the traffic outside either. It was quite a walk to find ice and the breakfast was nothing to write home about either. We were just glad it was only one night! We found it to be the very opposite of "southern hospitality."
