We have been Choice Privileges members for many years and have been pleased with Comfort Inns across the country. We reserved 5 nights at Comfort Inn Pensacola University for our granddaughters graduation. It had to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. I am posting pictues. The TV didnt' work, so the guy at the front desk came up and said there was a wire loose behind the TV. The sink drain backed up and we told the guy at the front desk and he said he would let maintenance know. We started getting very stuffed up and looked around and in the heater/AC fan unit. The dust was thick in and around that area. It was horrible! The man at the front desk apologized and offered keys to a different room, which we checked out. We pulled the cover off of the AC unit and it was also full of dusk! We asked to talk to the manager and she wouldn't be in until the next morning. We had to leave early in the morning, so we were not able to talk with her until the afternoon. We told the manager about the dust/dirt around the AC unit and she said they will call a company to come in and clean them. She offered no compensation or apology. This was a horrible place to stay and we couldn't believe that it was part of Choice Privileges.

It’s disgusting dirty location, I never seen any Comfort Inn dirty like this Sticky floor every where and I wake up around 2am on a big cockroach on the room metro me, they need to close this place or do something else with cleaning problem, I didn’t sleep well I didn’t eat breakfast it was a big wrong decision to stay there and give them money I swear if they give me money instead to stay there I will not do that even if they offer $1000 a night

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away! I rarely write reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. From the moment I walked into the room, I knew I’d made a mistake. There was hair on the beds—looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed. The toilet had urine on the bottom of it and the floor around it, and even on the bathroom door, which was as nasty as it sounds. It gets worse. There was something smeared on the headboard—I don’t even want to guess what it was—and the floors were so filthy I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. The shower handle looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years; have to use a towel just to touch it. I asked the front desk to switch rooms, and while they were polite, the alternative wasn’t much better. We looked at two different rooms other than ours, and they were just as dirty. This place needs a serious overhaul in cleaning and maintenance. Until that happens, do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else.
