1. Did not get the room we requested, charged the same. 2. The hotel ran out of room coffee. 3. No room service less than two days. 4. Pool water was HOT. 5. Breakfast on second morning was Muffin, yogurt, banana for one, two cups of coffee, and a yogurt parfait. COST us $35.00! 6. Short on employees.

Bad reviews would not be written if issues can be resolved upon checkout. The room was okay dirty carpets mold in shower but I guess we could live with that. The final straw was the morning before checkout I needed to wash my hair but the friggin shower started overflowing so here I am with half washed hair but decided we need to go and I cleaned up the restroom best as I could - room 225. Upon check out the gentleman who worked at the front said he’d make a note but could care less the way he acted I said I want my points refunded for this and he just looked at me and said next. I do work for a big hotel chain and we would never ever treat our guests like this . I would not write this review if the rude man the morning of the 22nd assisted me. Please follow up - Alice Coley

We came for a local wedding and the wedding party had a block of rooms reserved for months ahead for the festivities. This hotel admits it overbooked and gave precedence to a cruise line group. The sister of the groom was bumped out of her reserved rom and sent a long ways away to another Marriott in a bad part of town. The staff not only didn’t care but refused to answer emails and phone calls about it. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Not representative of a Marriott brand.

We paid for a king bed and when we arrived we were told that Marriott overbooks their rooms and they didn’t have any king rooms left. I insisted we get money off because the king rooms are more expensive. The lady at the front desk didn’t seem to care but I kept insisting. She ended up taking the price off my room but I had to fight for it. How can you NOT get what you paid for? I had already read previous reviews on here that this same thing had happened to other guests so yes, it’s a real problem here. The hotel itself was nice. The pool was nice and the inside was also nice. You can’t beat the location to a short walk to the beach and 2 restaurants walking distance away. They would have gotten 5 stars but because they don’t know how to run things apparently, I can’t give the best review.

This hotel was fantastic. Really clean spacious rooms with a huge balcony. The hotel was modern and well equipped. Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful. The pool area and hot tub were really nice. Lots of space and a great bar. We had a great time staying here and couldn’t fault it!

Horrible stay, Staff lies, room walls are hollow and you can hear everything. Warning they will rack up false charges on you. I checked in dropped my stuff off in the room and went to the little town up the street to have dinner. Got back to the room to get cleaned up to prep for relaxing and the staff broke into our room saying we were smoking. That was very strange. Especially that I was not even dressed. There should be a reasonable amount of privacy, I rented the room, that was Unsat. Pound family above us, complained and staff did nothing.
