Really lovely all-round. I think they upgraded my room from 'Economy' to a lovely one in the main Chateau, and it was lovely - really a suite! The staff were all excellent, and next time I'll be trying the dining room, which seems lovely (and nice to see a waiter in a jacket and black bow tie for once!) Right by the ruins of the castle, and when I left at first light I saw lots of rabbits jumping around!

Nice and helpfull staff. The chef created a tasting menu with wine pairing that was excellent. The hotel could do with some upgrades, however, what is a castle if not with some inconveniences. Will come back again.

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment agréable dans cet hôtel magnifique, un lieu parfait pour profiter de l’automne et de ses belles couleurs.
Le personnel est chaleureux et toujours prêt à aider. Un grand merci à Olivier et Sophie, qui ont su répondre à nos besoins avec gentillesse et efficacité. Olivier nous a même raconté l’histoire de l’hôtel, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus spéciale.
Nous sommes impatients de revenir, au printemps ou en été, pour redécouvrir cet endroit !

Tout était parfait, le dîner du réveillon, le DJ, le feu d'artifice pour le passage à la nouvelle année, le brunch du nouvel an le tout dans un endroit avec une décoration extraordinaire sans oublier l'équipe du château. Séjour à renouveler sans hésitation

J'ai décidé de passer le réveillon ainsi que le matin du nouvel an, au château de Fère. Je ne comprends d'ailleurs pas la note de 3,5 qui est donnée. Au vu de l'histoire, de ce qu'il était, de ce qu'il est ce jour, cette note n'est pas du tout représentative de cette merveille. Tout n'est pas parfait, c'est certain. Normal!!!! C'est une très vieille battisse et tout le monde a conscience que rien n'est simple et tout est capricieux. Si l'on veut du PARFAIT dans cet établissement, il est fort probable que le prix proposé ne soit plus du tout le même. Pour en revenir à ce moment, cette soirée du réveillon a été absolument magique, la nourriture excellente, le choix des vins était bien trouvé et le clou de la soirée: un feu d'artifice. Tout cela, dans une ambiance chaleureuse, familiale et conviviale, dans un cadre enchanteur. TOUT le personnel a été au petit soin et vraiment très gentil. Un GRAND MERCI à Olivier, qui est littéralement l'âme de ce château. Il est très présent pour tous les clients et a toujours une anecdote sur cette fabuleuse bâtisse, à nous raconter. Bref, ce séjour dans l'histoire, a suspendu ma vie le temps d'un merveilleux instant. Ce château propose régulièrement des soirées en fonction des saisons. J'y retournerai avec plaisir. L'été au château doit être génial et je compte bien revenir l'an prochain pour le réveillon 2025.
