The hotel was simple but very clean and perfectly located, close to everything I needed. The owner was incredibly kind and made me feel at home. She even prepared a special breakfast for me as I’m vegetarian, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I really appreciated the warm hospitality and personal touch.

I had a really nice time in Xianzigshen Hostel. The location is great, right in the center of the old town and the lady that runs it is super nice. She can't speak English but is super welcoming and explained me a lot about traditionel Chinese medicine, which was very interesting. She even prepared me a special tea because a had a little cough. It's probably the most authentic stay I had in China. I really recommend going there :)

I can just simply say that I would definitely stay at this hostel. The owner is super friendly, but mainly I want to emphasize the kindness. She took care of me as if I were part of her family. The hostel itself is super clean, just 1 min by walk to the main river. Even though, it’s surrounded by many shops , it didn’t bother me and have a good sleep at night. Traditional Chinese breakfast is also included. The bed is also comfy. The owner does not speak English but she makes everything in her hands to make you feel like in home.

The place very strategic in the middle of lake.from alley to the lake only 40mtr.the boss lady very warm welcome,kind.i can sleep well at night.hot water is very good,and clean.the rooms too.in morning the boss lady give us breakfast.i can't ask anything more.perfect !!
The city is very beauty full at night,wonderful.

I stayed there one night and it was good. Located in a little alley right up the river, which is nice; and the lady is adorable. She gave me tea when I arrived, and even offered breakfast for the morning. The bathroom is very basic and small, but otherwise the bed was comfortable, and there's even AC. Overall, great experience, and worth it as it is much cheaper than the popular hotels along the river :)

I liked my stay here so much. It's a basic, simple but very cozy hostel. The dorm was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fulfilling. And the lovely lady who runs it is so thoughtful, it's as if you were being taken care by your grandma. And the location is perfect, in the ancient town and at walking distance to the bus stop leading to the railway station

Lovely place run by grany! She is the cutest ever. In the morning she makes very good and filling breakfast. Laundry service for free and drinkable water. 10 seconds from the main street by the river. Just one of the best options in Fenghuang!!!!!

It was a great pleasure to stay in this hostel. The location is perfect, just 1 minute by foot from the river, in middle of the best area. The owner was a wonderful host, worried about everything, very friendly and welcoming, she made me feel in home. All what you need you can just ask her and she gonna do her best to help you. Don’t think about it and stay here.
