The homestay has a good view at night and in the morning but the space is quite small, especially the toilet and bathroom. Ensure you call the homestay before arriving to get their wechat number so that you can arrange for them to pick you up as drivers are not allowed to drive into the ancient city itself and this hotel is quite hidden away and hard to find. Once we managed to contact the staff, everything went quite smoothly and the lady boss was very pleasant - made us nice cups of coffee and gave us some local sweets to bring with us when we checked out. Communication with guests prior to arrival can be further improved for a better overall experience.

The owners were very helpful, and there was actually good coffee at the reception. The location is good for those who like to be right by the river in the old town. Unfortunately, it wasn't ideal for us with small children, as you have to carry your luggage quite a distance over cobblestones.
