Personal im Service und an der Reception sehr freundlich. Mit dem Frühstücksangebot waren wir sehr zufrieden, Zimmer, Badezimmer, Balkon sehr sauber. Interessante Objekte (alte Fernsprecher, Schreibmaschinen...) dekorieren die Räume. Genügend Gratisparkplätze vor dem Haus, Leider ist der Zugang ins Haus und zur Reception nicht ganz barrierefrei, es muss je eine Stufe ohne Handlauf bewältigt werden. In unserem Zimmer passte der zu kleine Bett-Unterbau nicht zur Matratze, was für ältere Leute eine gewisse "Absturzgefahr" darstellt.

Buon albergo per visitare la foresta nera, ambiente rilassante dotato di una buona piscina e sauna, il tutto gestito in maniera perfetta dai titolari. E' possibile noleggiare in loco biciclette per escursioni e cenare al ristorante dell'albergo.

Overall a good hotel, however they advertise peace and relaxation with an indoor pool and sauna, but this is hardly possible as there are children all over the area and it feels like a children's playground. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you as only "children" count.

Hotel ideally located. Beautiful view of the Feldberg and the Titisee. The room is superb, very clean and renovated. Too bad: the bedding was too soft and our windows overlooked an overhanging meadow where cows equipped with bells grazed, making them very noisy at night. Another downside: very young staff not seeking contact with customers, almost unfriendly. We never saw the bosses. Evening meal not recommended: expensive, very spicy and minimalist.

3rd time back and now even better! This Hotel is such a great find! Hotel Diana is 5 minutes drive to the top of Feldberg mountain with all the amenities. We were there in August with our 8 and 6 year olds and there are so many things to do from walking to hidden lakes to a Go Ape like adventure course, also an indoor version. The winter ski season must also be very convenient from the hotel and there is a bus that runs from the main road up. The hotel itself is lovely. The hotel is family run and the owner was at hand and treated guests. Traditional style but very good amenities and very clean. Recently has had the rooms renovated since our last visit and we stayed in one which was really nicely done up. The breakfast was great, a very good variety with some different hot pasties made daily and all items to a very nice quality. The room we had was a very large family room with a big balcony with views down to the valley towards Titisee and also the fields at the back. Very quite to sleep at night and we could star gaze every night with the kids! The room was very clean and the shower was always nice and warm and powerful. Room serviced everyday. We had meals there nearly every night and the menu was gorgeous and all freshly home made. Schitzels were massive! The pool area is also a very nice surprise, really large pool for the hotel size, over 10 meters, and also a sauna, great to jump into after a days walking. There is also plenty of parking outside for free and also an Electric Car charging point :-). From the hotel you are within 15-20 minutes to all attractions and also 35 minutes to Freiburg the main city. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore the black forest area.

Pleasant hotel. Well located for hiking departures. Beautiful swimming pool and sauna. Perfect breakfast. The staff is welcoming. Free parking. Unobstructed view of the Titisee depending on the orientation of the room.

The aging hotel had a lot to offer in terms of charm. But the staff were a little overwhelmed. Dinner took two hours (with advance reservations) and they were simply too lazy to clear the dishes. Even when we insisted on ordering more drinks, we had to finish typing the chat first. Otherwise, the sauna and indoor pool were very good. The small rooms were fine for an overnight stay. The menu was rather poor.

We stayed at the Hotel Diana for two nights. The location is great for hiking, excursions and skiing on the Feldberg. The room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the mattress was much too soft for me. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, there were no scrambled eggs. The coffee could be a bit better. The evening meal was good and plentiful, but not really cheap. The staff was very friendly. The pool is great and very well heated. There is also a small sauna. Parking is free directly at the hotel. Price-performance ratio is good. A Lidl, a pizzeria and other restaurants are within easy walking distance.
