Wonderful experience with Louise on reception instantly changed our room to a more accessible one, was very warm and friendly, can't thank her enough after a fairly traumatic afternoon. Good food at the restaurant next door for dinner and breakfast.

Tara at reception was fantastic, she advised us of things to do and places to visit,she was friendly, helpful and professional, a really good start to our visit.

We stayed here at the hotel at very short notice due to a leak problem in our home and myself and husband with our two young children had the leave our home at a very short notice, Louise the manager was outstanding during our stay , and the two night shift staff that was on - one being new to her role was very helpful and accommodating to our needs at this difficult time. If I could rate 10 stars I would. Thank you ladies for a lovely stay.

The beds were extremely comfortable but the room hadn’t been vacuumed and smelled stale and sweaty. The window had been opened to counteract this but it hadn’t had the desired effect. We ate dinner at The Star Inn just across the way. The food and service were excellent, but the place was tired and grubby looking.

for a so called budget hotel (stayed in plenty budget and the other end hotels..4/5 star) This place is Supreme. Not 1 night or 2 nights,been here 12 nights,will be here another 2 months. When staff go beyond the call of duty ( without customer asking ) Always a 5 star ' hint ' I do not know ( obviously ) all individuals names ( ie the cleaning team) But,and who,not just today,Sunday June 7th 2025,every day,last 12 days. The friendliest staff team,I have ever experienced. Nothing,zero to much trouble. All the staff. Extra Special mentions,for ALISON TARA & FIN. thankyou plus whoever today's cleaning team,Inc the above 3 staff members who,without me asking or requesting; sorted something to make my stay even better. Thankyou ALISON Thankyou TARA Thankyou FIN also,Mo & Mr.D ! Rachel thankyou so much extra Special Zoe thankyou so much. Sam as well.

Excellent. Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. A walk in shower would have been nicer than shower in the bath...but bathroom very clean. Helpful friendly staff Would recommend Handy for Gatwick and free parking

As always, it was a good stay here. Alison (reception) gave us a very warm welcome. Remembered us from a previous visit. We Instantly felt settled, relaxed, and had a good nights sleep, and a great shower the next morning. We will be coming back.
