Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Petersburg Clearwater

The hotel is outdated, cleaning should be improved. The location is a little bit far from everything, both downtown and airport Some sites show that they have EV changers, so be aware that they don’t. The stuff is friendly An Ok option if you get it cheap, in my case not a good value for money

A comfortable stay in a good location relative to the spots we wanted to check out (Siesta Key and Clearwater). The complimentary breakfast buffet and self parking were excellent. Loved the microwave and mini fridge in the room as well! I would stay here again

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The Staff was extremely rude and refused to check me out or help me. There was no one else in the lobby but me. Room’s dirty. People like this should not work in hospitality if they’re not willing to help guests. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It cheap for a reason.

No one was at the desk for at least 10. minutes at check in. Several staff members were around but they could not check us in. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the far end along a quiet street. Our first impressions of the room was " it is just for one night". The room was in need of a serious deep clean. I will add photos to show the disrepair. The staff was very nice and I guess there was only one person to manage the desk, everyone needs a break sometimes. When he arrived he was very accommodating & apologized for the delay.

We stayed at this hotel last year and it seemed fine, but boy has it gone downhill. The common areas of the hotel were dirty and the room was not great either. The bathroom fan was not working. There was mildew around the shower and the room had a musty smell. I guess that's to be expected when the fan is not working in Florida. While I was sitting in the lobby in the morning waiting for my partner to wake up I heard a couple people checking out mention maintenance issues in their rooms. I was going to sit by the pool, but the gate was not working. There was also an issue with the room keys. The front desk clerk had to let us into the room and had a maintenance guy come by with a different kind of key card that he asked us to please return on check out. I have never experienced that. This was not the usual situation where you go to the room and the card doesn't work so you go back to the front desk and they make a new one. I don't recommend staying at this property and we are Marriott Bonvoy members. It's not up to Marriott standards.

Older Fairfield. Clean. Well maintained & updated by replacing tub with walk-in shower. Nice staff. Little fridge was worn and mat under it was tattered & torn which was a minor concern, but indicative of aging. Overall OK , but starting to feel tired and furniture aging. Slightly better but typical breakfast with hot & cold foods. Tasty quiche, sausage & Canadian bacon.

I was welcomed to the property by Denise who was so sweet and helpful when checking me in. That makes all the difference when checking into a property with a welcoming front desk associate. I also noticed her friendliness to other guests in the hotel when coming in and out, this property is lucky to have someone like her working at the desk. Really appreciated her local insight - I was not there long enough to really utilize any of the amenities but the property was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were very pleased with our five night stay at this hotel. I chose it for location. We had varied plans and did not intend to spend a lot of time at the beach in January. We needed to visit relatives in St Petersburg, wanted to spend some time in downtown St Pete and also wanted to spend some time on Clearwater Beach. All those things were in different directions. Everything we did was within 20 to 30 minutes. It's also easy access to the Howard Frankland causeway to Tampa. The hotel seemed a bit dated but everything was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The room seemed a bit small compared to other Fairfield's I've stayed at but the bed was comfy, there was a mini fridge in the room and everything was in good working order. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen since covid. There were scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs every day with two choices of meats that varied daily. There was also fresh made oatmeal and a waffle maker. Also fresh oranges and bananas and the usual bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, juice etc. The price of the hotel was competitive compared to others I looked at. We are very happy we stayed there.
