Holiday Inn Express Fayetteville - Fort Bragg

This is now a Holiday Inn Express! It was recently remodeled and everything was exceptionally clean. There was no signage that the name had changed so it was difficult to find at first but once we knew we were at the right place it was great. The only other thing that keeps me from giving a higher rating is there are no vending machines or market in the hotel to get drinks or snacks and there were no options to get drinking water other than the bathroom sink. The breakfast was better than most hotels I've stayed at for the price and the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. Beds and pillows are awesome and they offer Dove toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion.Mini fridge and microwave in room but no coffee maker or even cups. You need to go to the lobby for those.I would absolutely stay here again, I just know now to bring water and snacks if I don't plan on driving anywhere after check in.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with hotels. We book several rooms weekly for our employees and I have never worked with such difficult people that made this experience so hard. Our company will never ever stay here again. They gave everyone a hard time, switched membership points, and had to go through paperwork all over again to extend a night. One of the ladies at the front desk had the worst attitude towards some of our employees too.

The bathroom shower was not cleaned thoroughly. There was hair and dirt residue along the shower. I did enjoy the size and design of the room.

Had I realized that this property was under construction (renovation) and has been for a year or so (according to a staff member), I would not have booked our stay with them. I don't believe this was fully disclosed at the time of booking, to my recollection. As such, it was not a pleasant 2 nights. After the 1st night, I should have cancelled the 2nd night and re-booked at the Hilton Garden Inn which was practically next door.

Great hotel. Very clean and the room we stayed in was fully renovated. Everything was brand new. Highly recommend.

They are in the midst of a full renovation and the public spaces downstairs are not yet completed. But staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms had already been finished and were nice. They are projected to be finished later this spring. Our party of 20 had a good overnight stay.
