Nice late night stop over, close to I-95, friendly customer service, unlike other motels, flexible and safe place

For the second time we stayed at this hotel, we weren't informed until check-in that we would be getting an accessible room, which we didn't need, but someone else may have. These rooms are not equipped for people with disabilities or impairments. First of all, the bed is very high. Not a problem for us, but it would be for someone who has trouble lifting their legs. The tub was somewhat dangerous because the floor of the tub was higher than the bathroom floor. Stepping out, I almost slipped even with the bar in the tub. Also, having a wooden seat in the tub for people who can't stand for long is a breeding ground for germs. The shower head was broken. It was manageable but still needs to be fixed. The bedspread was dirty. I understand that these kinds of places aren't meant for long stays but they should still be maintained. It's a dog-friendly hotel - someone should be making sure that there are waste bags to clean up after our dogs.

Not safe, not clean, don't do it We actually checked in but left within hours to the beautiful Hampton Inn (Pet friendly) down the road. Many people walking around, looking at everything we were doing, checking out our car. This is not a good safe place for the night. Room was not clean enough to feel comfortable, chair broken, ice machine broken, smoke alarm chirping, then wifi and TVs out. Had to find person in office, phone off hook. Claims wifi out due to "storm coming" NOT TRUE. Our dog was on high alert whole time we were in room. I have NEVER left a place and paid again but it was that bad. Also, impossible to leave a real review anywhere except Trip Advisor.

Arrived to find the room stunk from cigarettes and was under surveillance by the local police, 5 cruisers at the motel. The front desk said it was related to a traffic stop. We were offered a different room but we left due to the obvious.. Complete dump and will never stay at a red roof again 😡

It’s an average stay … driving from FL to NJ for Christmas with 2 Small dogs. Total room was $78 (dogs free) and right off the highway. The bathroom and beds were clean and comfortable. Plus , Great water pressure was a bonus after hours of sitting in traffic. Air conditioning/ heating unit worked fine. That’s all I cared about seeing that I checked in at 10:30 pm and checked out at 5:30 AM. The floors could be cleaner and the towels were awful. Also, the widows and window treatments were dirty. The hotel was a typical style red roof no elevator or luggage carts. Front desk staff was friendly and quick. I got to park the car in front of my room which was a plus. It served its purpose for what I needed it for.

We had been staying at another property off this exit but decided to switch to Red Roof because Pets stay free. There had been some issues with our reservation but manager Gabrielle Torres & her staff embodied hospitality to work it out for us. Every employee we encountered whether by phone, email or in person was so kind. I will share that the Christmas tree in the lobby sporting “Trump 2024” & “Let’s go Brandon” ornaments was obnoxious & off putting. There was no meaningful breakfast -- individually packaged pastry and some juice -- not that I had an appetite after that tree. The room was billed to us as an upgrade to a King-sized bed in a handicapped accessible room. It was clean with laminate floors. There was space for a wheelchair to maneuver when you first enter the room but the space between the end of the bed and the dresser & minifridge would probably be tight to squeeze a chair through. The bathroom was open & there was a grab bar near the toilet, but the shower was not good for somebody in a wheelchair. There was a handheld shower but it was mounted in the up position so you would have to stand to get it out of the mount & use it as a handheld. There was a bench across the back of the tub, but that was 6 feet from the water controls & it was still a tub not a zero barrier entry shower. As able-bodied people none of this affected up but 1 person in a wheelchair traveling independently could not have showered in this bathroom Because we were traveling with a dog, I was verbally reminded 3 times to clean up after my pet. That’s fine. I’m a responsible pet owner but in the morning when I walked my dog, I was dismayed to find not 1 but 12 piles of dog poop around the property, none of which was fresh that morning. The hypocrisy bothered me.

Motel de base pour un soir et éviter de trop sortir le soir, car environnement spécial. Chambre accessible par l'extérieur avec petit déjeuner inclus mais très de base. Il y avait un mini-frigo et un micro-onde.

Despite the hotel's claim it is a "non-smoking" facility, the room we were stuffed into hugger-mugger stank of old cigarettes, an unpleasant discovery for me, who hasn't smoked in more than thirty years, and for my wife, who hasn't smoked in more than forty. And as is often the case with Red Roof facilities, light fixtures in the room had either burned-out bulbs or were missing bulbs altogether. The air conditioning unit failed to do much of anything toward reducing either the temperature or the humidity in the room, leaving us to swelter.

Deplorable condition, I booked on line with Priceline walked into the room and walked right back out and requested an immediate refund, I don’t know where you can post pictures but I have several to document my review. The front desk girls were very courteous however.
