Don’t waste your time, everything is very dirty, bed, blankets, pillows, floor everything, it was a no smoke but still smelled like smoke

I e worked in hotels for a decade and other than my experience working front desk. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed that have been extremely nice and understanding..Great owners and staff are trying to do the best they can ..rooms are clean and spacious. Could definitely use some better maintenance for sure..should be be more safer for children as well. When you do right God always replenishes it..,💓

If I could give negative stars I would. Took almost a half hour to check in despite having made a reservation on their website and providing the confirmation email. The room was the most filthy space I’ve ever stayed. The floors were sticky and soft. The walls were covered in grime. The bathroom light/vent made the loudest screeching sound and the toilet did not flush. We woke to find a 2 inch cockroach in the tub. I am embarrassed that I spent 5 minutes in this monstrosity with my family. This place should be condemned.

My husband and I were driving to Fl and stopped at the Travelodge in Fayetteville NC for the night in late Nov 2022. Let me start by saying the lobby should have been a sign of what's to come. It had a foul smell and there were big house flies flying around. Against my better judgment I decided to ignore it and continue with my registration since it was late and we were tired. What a mistake that was. When we got to our room, it's the most dingy hotel room I've personally seen. There was a roach crawling around, a long strand of hair on the pillow, a visibly broken and dirty air condition unit, dirt and crumbs next to the refrigerator, and a piece of the door was broken off from the bottom, with a metal piece sticking out, clearly a safety hazard. Needless to say we returned to the front desk to ask for a refund so we could find more appropriate lodging. That part of the saga is currently ongoing because they are refusing to provide a refund.

We knew beforehand that this wasn’t going to be a 5-star resort. But I wasn’t expecting a filthy room with flies swarming the place, broken furniture, and stained/burned sheets and bedding. None of us slept well due to flies landing on us while we slept. I would not recommend unless you like insects buzzing around your face while you sleep.

My work takes me all over the country and to several countries around the world so I've stayed at a great variety of places and this place has got to be the worst by far and frankly I don't know how Wyndham would allow this place to represent its brand. I'll skip the minor details that contributed to my feeling of uneasiness but when we checked in I was told they would only take cash. Luckily we were only staying one night so I had enough cash on me so I paid but never got my change. It was only a couple of bucks and change so I let it go. While she was processing the paperwork a person who I think is the manager was arguing with someone about rent. I say I think it's the manager because didn't dress like one. He had a dirty t-shirt on an dirty pants but he seems to be bossing people around so I'm assuming he's in charge. We asked for a non-smoking room but the room smelled of smoke and had cigarette burn marks on the bedding. The bar lock on the door above the knob wasn't aligned so it wouldn't lock. The door to the bathroom wouldn't close. There was no water pressure or any hot water. The internet didn't work. In the middle of the night there was a dog barking and whining for hours. My family and I didn't feel safe staying there. We got up before daylight and got out of there fast. We will never stay there ever again.
