The Sun Inn

Stayed in a double room,beautifully clean. Amenities were 5 star, docking station and radio,TV, Nespresso machine, a selection of teas, plus 2 types of cookie! ,toiletries and a huge bathroom with a great bathtub. Table top fan was quiet and efficient since it was hot and room was in the attic, with exposed beams. Included breakfast had a huge selection. Full English well presented with quality ingredient. £108 too cheap for this experience, they could double it!

We stayed here with a friend for two nights. The Sun is in the centre of historic Faversham and is within walking distance of other pubs and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. There was an excellent choice of cooked to order food for breakfast. We had dinner there on one of the evenings and it was delicious.

Central location, very quiet after pub closes at 11pm. Long stay car park just a few minutes walking distance. Comfortable twin ensuite room, however this is up 2 flights of stairs, one very steep. Good breakfast, pleasant service. Bathroom grout/tiles need TLC . No loo brush! However would definitely stay again.

EXCELLENT Lovely large room. Very clean. Had dinner there as well and the service was excellent.

We've just returned from a one night stay at The Sun on the special Spring offer which was fantastic value. £125 for a double room with full English breakfast, £25 each towards dinner and a free bottle of wine included. Excellent! We were welcomed by Gemma who was so friendly and helpful, and shown to our Room (No 9) which was wonderful. Really clean, fresh, warm and cosy and an amazing bathroom. Our meal in the restaurant was most enjoyable - served by Jo who was cheerful and chatty - she really looked after us. Delicious food - a great chef with a menu that had more interesting dishes than the normal pub grub items you might expect - and a lovely chilled Pinot Grigio to accompany. A really good night's sleep - very quiet outside (maybe would be noisier in the summer when folk are outside in the garden?) and we woke to a lovely sunny day to explore Faversham. Jo again served us breakfast along with Brendan and everything lived up to expectations. You will not be disappointed with the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere in The Sun. A very special hotel and one we look forward to returning to. Many thanks to all.

I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening.
