Quality Inn

We booked a room for two nights, it was fairly inexpensive and convenient to the venue we were going to. When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly & gave us the room keys. Our room was on the back side of the building on the bottom floor (unsure if that is relevant to the problem) and when we opened the door, the smell of body odor/stale cigarette smoke/mold/mildew was like a punch to the face. We were running late for a dinner so we decided to get ready in the room anyway & would make a decision once we came back…thought maybe turning the air on for a bit would help circulate the stale air. When we got back the smell was even worse, & when I checked around the bedding there was mildew under the mattress. The clothing that we had left hanging smelled like the room, it was just downright gross. We checked out that same night and found another place. The front desk staff was very nice and refunded one night, but didn’t question why we were leaving/unhappy with the room and didn’t offer a different room or accommodation, so that makes me think it happens often. The property itself was poorly maintained, & i honestly don’t think I would not have felt safe there if my husband was not with me. The WiFi was completely open (no password) which is also incredibly sketchy to me.

Disgusting rooms outrageous rates. Hotel also houses the homeless so people are wandering all around and loud. Not a safe feeling. Asked for discount when explained the issues on Checkout and was denied. Management is well aware how bad it is. DO NOT STAY HERE

Very out dated. Many amenities weren’t available or didn’t work such as smoke alarms, hair dryers bath mats & breakfast was disappointing. Mold in bathroom, cigarette burns in comforter & Bugs. I’m currently at Urgent Care in my Home town being treated for bites all over my body. Probably the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed but you get what ya pay for!! Need to contact Community Health Service & Media outlets to shut this place down. It is unhealthy & unsafe to stay in!!

We only stayed because it was late, we had just driven until dark after attending a family funeral and we had nothing left in us by the time we ate and came back to the room. The room had dirty, stained towels, bedspreads and sheets. There were burn marks in the bedspread. The sheets were the thinnest most pilled I'd ever seen. Molding was off and sitting around. Caulking was cracked. There was unknown yuck on the walls. The light bulb for the entry switch was missing. The storage nook was cluttered with an extra metal bar and hangers. The breakfast juice was brown and sour. Food was cereal or waffles. No fruit. The hotel staff were very nice. The night desk person found a plug for the bathtub and helped with TV operation instructions. The other plus was that there was no sign of bedbugs.
