I stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need. There were some things I thought were a bit strange however. The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap. The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too. Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine. Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good. Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

The price is relatively affordable, but traveling is not particularly convenient. The front desk worked a bit late and I had to wait outside for a long time. Located in Farnham, very close to UCA

I stayed here previously and thought it was ok. Not sure what has happened since. My single room was dirty and the dower cubicle was awful with mould on the dower curtain. Though I had paid for breakfast, I was unable to make it as I needed to leave at 0700 (work commitments); the hotel refused to refund me. There’s are better hotels in/around the area ranging from independent to hotel chains.

Stayed here at the end of August for 2 nights, from the outside its beautiful and the grounds are lovely. The interior downstairs is old but still relatively nice, the staff are friendly most of the time. However the rooms are disgusting, they do not look like they have been cleaned. The carpets had bits all over them it's not something you would want to walk on without shoes. The bathroom was dated, floor and shower were dirty and the toilet had skid marks left in it. The beds aren't the most comfortable, you can feel the springs in the mattress. The sheets and duvet had stains on them. I found hairs, bugs and crumbs in the bed. I felt dirty just being in there. It is also quite noisy with pipes going off any time someone flushes the toilet or turns on a tap in another room. The walls are very thin you can hear people talking, snoring or turning lights on or off. Breakfast was average, nothing special. Overall I would NOT stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

the room really was a single room with a double bed thrown in - the ceiling slanted so my partner could not sit up in bed! The shower curtain had mould over it, and the rest of the bathroom was grimy, dirty and really not very nice at all. In the drawer marked 'tea and coffee' there were only cups and sugar, the carpets had not been cleaned for goodness knows how long, the room was dark and gloomy. The breakfast was awful, cold, watery eggs, no milk or hot water for making your drinks. The member of staff clearly could not really care as she had probably had a morning of complaints. I would definitely not recommend it, better off going to a different hotel with a comfortable bed and is clean. I emailed the hotel with my complaint, as well as speaking to the receptionist - 4 days later I am still waiting to hear from someone.

No restaurant at the weekend. Very loud music until Midnight. Guest noises until 2.00am. Poor quality breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the building and grounds are interesting but a three star hotel should have a functioning restaurant 7 days a week. We drove from Cornwall and had to go out to find a restaurant in Farnham.

I booked into a single room. The room was clean. Bathroom could do with being updated. Bar area is nice. The breakfast was good; I let the hotel know I was gluten free and they ensured I was looked after. Disappointed there was no orange juice- it was orange cordial instead. All in all, a nice stay. Would stay again.

The buildings is beautiful, the surroundings lovely, however the room was awful, dated and small, the walls so thin I could hear everything single word said by both couples either side of our room, and they weren't exactly loud! I had to go for a drive at 3am due to the snoring. We were due to stay two nights but left after the first, the owners state they dont care about the noise we jad to go through are now claiming they gave us an offer of an upgrade, they did not! I certainly would never book here again.
