Lovely hotel, we stayed for the Farnborough exhibition. Not the hotels fault but we booked an airport view room, but by the time we got there it was dark and in the morning it was thick fog, so couldn’t see anything! It was still a lovely room. Great shower, nice toiletries, all the rooms amenities you could want. We had a problem with the tv as it was very slow and then would keep going off. We reported it to reception and I got an email after I had left apologising which was nice. Didn’t use any of the bars or restaurants unfortunately but the sky bar looked very nice as we walked past. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

My better half and I have been coming to the Aviator for about a decade and every time we have an amazing time. The place and the rooms are spotless, the food is delicious, the drinks from the bar are amazing and the staff are always so friendly and attentive. It even smells great. We have had the pleasure of celebrating many events in our life there and I hope we continue to do so. I just wish they still did a free drink on arrival, and we miss the Bison Punch and Gin Monsoon cocktails!

Even though the room was not facing the airport it was amazing. The room had everything and was spotless. Extremely modern, 2 TV's massive bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Corner sofa and a separate chaise next to the bed. We were unfortunately visiting for a funeral but would love to return and take advantage of more of the facilities. Breakfast was as much as you liked buffet or cooked extremely well set out. Staff were so attentive where ever you went. This is a proper hotel, my husband and I highly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble here, bags taken to your room. Wow what service. We are returning. We were too late to use Brasserie due to family commitments but did eat at one eleven, simple but very good food. Need to go back and try that Brasserie.

A tricky review to write. The staff were certainly eager to please, which was appreciated, though at times it came across as a bit overdone. The hotel itself is fine, but nothing more than that—it lacks the thoughtful touches you’d expect from a 4-star experience, such as slippers, robes, or even a minibar. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but everything felt quite basic. I had booked dinner at the brasserie with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. The starter was bland, and the blade of steak was so dry it was inedible—even after requesting mayonnaise to help. The set 2/3 course menu was quite limited in options. While the food was served quickly, the bill was slow to arrive, which added to the frustration. We had a pre-dinner drink in the bar and were asked three times for our room number to charge the drinks, only to be asked for payment again—very disorganized and confusing. At this stage, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but I’m holding out hope that breakfast might redeem the experience somewhat.
