Arrived to our room, put our stuff in the fridge, unpacked a bit….realized we were in a dead spot for wifi….so we immediately had to repack and move rooms, and were disappointed we lost the King size bed. I was already having a rough day so I decided to go to bed early. I woke up to 2 confused ladies trying to enter my room and said that they were also assigned to my room. They went back to the front desk and 5 minutes later I was disrupted again with a phone call from front desk confirming if I was in that room. I wasn’t able to sleep again for a while after that as the insulation and walls here are terrible and you can hear and feel literally every single footstep and movement from the room above and other surrounding rooms. It was a very loud, obnoxious, startling, constant creaking noise and thudding. Sounded like a family of elephants. This went on til very late in the night, and we had an early morning for a long drive and a wedding…my fiancé and I were exhausted and did not feel safe driving the next day. Also, both rooms also had stained carpets and drapes. I hate to give this such a poor review because the lady running the place had her crying baby with her and she was trying her best to accommodate us and I always want the best for hard-working Mothers….but the truth is we just had an awful stay here, disgruntled and tired. Respectfully, all my best to that Mother who looked like she had her hands full.
