Wonderful meal prepared and served by attentive professional staff. Wine selection along with explanation on the pairing by the sommelier was equally as good. Would recommend along with a stay at the hotel at Farlam Hall. Overall a fantastic experiance.

A wonderful welcoming restful and beautifully-decorated hotel. Our bedroom was beautiful with extremely comfortable beds, delivering a great nights sleep. But o wow - the food is sensational, cannot say how amazing it was. And finally the friendly and helpful staff must get a special mention too.

We loved our stay thank you very much. Hotel wonderful, spotlessly clean, quality everywhere. All staff so friendly, professional and welcoming. Food fantastic - as good as anything we've experienced. One night to short, we shall definitely be back.

We were so pleased to be able to visit at last. The whole stay was excellent, from the initial check in, the rooms, all the staff and of course an outstanding and memorable dinner. Having dined locally at the Gilpin Windermere for over 30 years we were so disappointed when Hrishikesh left ( in our opinion by far the best chef they have ever had) , but pleased that he had only moved only an hour or so North to Farlam so we were able to visit, stay and have a superb dinner. The food had elevated to an even higher level than when he was at the Gilpin . The atmosphere in the hotel was 'relaxed country house', not stuffy or formal but a friendly attentive front of house team. The bedrooms were very spacious and tastefully furnished . A big thanks to all the team for making our stay at Farlam Hall very special!

As we were staying in Keswick why partner and I decided to treat ourselves to afternoon tea at Farlam Hall. We were not disappointed! Everything about the visit was top class. We received a very warm welcome from Katie. As we were early we had coffee in a beautiful room overlooking the well kept gardens and lake. Hannah and Brandon served our tea professionally and attentively in a beautiful dining room. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious. Afterwards we had a walk around the grounds and kitchen garden. Thank you team Farlam for a memorable experience! We will definitely be back.

We have recently returned from Farlam Hall after having an amazing stay. We have followed Hrishikesh Desai from his previous hotel as his food is absolutely amazing. We ate the tasting menu in The Cedar Tree on our first night and had a less formal meal in Bistro Enkel on the second. The dishes on the tasting menu are beautifully created with some amazing combinations, words cannot describe them. Wonderful wines are expertly matched by Alex and everything is served to perfection and expertly by Farlams team. The a la carte choices in Enkel were just as enjoyable as the michelin star dishes , in a less formal atmosphere. Breakfasts are fantastic too. The full English a must before our daily walk served by always cheerful Sharon. The bedrooms are always immaculately clean as are the public areas, and the Molton Brown toiletries are a luxury addition. We love to walk and enjoy the many walks nearby. All team Farlam give us a warm welcome when we arrive and make our stays very enjoyable and relaxing ! Thank you again and see you soon!

A wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. Our bedroom was spotless. A problem with a cold shower was very quickly addressed. We had a lovely breakfast and again served by very efficient and friendly staff. Farlam Hall is definitely a place where we would visit again.

My Husband & had Afternoon Tea and stayed for 1 night as a treat. It's a wonderful hotel, great service, excellent food, beautiful gardens & a very peaceful nights sleep in a lovely room overlooking the front of the hotel. Thank you Farlam Hall

We’ve just arrived home after an amazing stay at Farlam Hall. If I could give it 10 stars I would! It was our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last. Everything about our stay was perfect. Straightforward parking, quick check in, tour of the beautiful hotel. Then we were shown to our room (room 5) which was a lovely double aspect room with a view of the lake and the amazing cedar tree. The Molton Brown products in the stylish bathroom made it feel even more special. We went to dinner at 7.30 after a drink in the peaceful bar, and from then until 10.15 we were treated to the most wonderful food from the 12 course tasting menu - not to mention immaculate service. Breakfast this morning was just as beautifully served and presented and we have been thoroughly spoilt. We will most definitely be back again.
