I booked into this hotel for 7 nights in March 2024. When I realised it was SO FAR away from Delhi, I told them that I needed to shorten my stay to 4 nights. They agreed to this after initial disagreement. The first night was a total disaster. It is listed on booking dot com as a 4 star hotel (their own words), with a restaurant, slippers, toilet paper, a balcony, tea and coffee making facilities, but NONE of these things are there. I was even told at the time of check-in that there was no pool. This was later corrected by another employee who said that there is a pool. The room at first glance is nice. Really nice. However, the air conditioning is so loud even on its lowest setting that hearing the tv or trying to sleep is impossible. The ceiling fan is the same problem. It only works on one speed, this being super fast and noisy. I was killing mosquitoes one after another all evening and I don’t know how they were getting in. I had to go and buy some mosquito spray and I covered myself in repellent before going to bed. There is no dim light in the room for relaxation, all powerful spotlights, and there is NO light switch at the sides of the bed. Instead you have to get out of bed and put on or switch off the lights by the front door. The towel I was given left me absolutely covered in white fluff, meaning that not only did I have to shower again, but that the cotton fibres were flying around in the room and inevitably got breathed in. There is no shop anywhere near the hotel. There is no restaurant anywhere near the hotel. In the evening of my first night I went out walking and following Google maps to take me to a restaurant, then the same to a shop to buy a few essentials. It was a nightmare. So much so that one shopkeeper saw that I was so exhausted and wringing in sweat that he got his own car and took me back to the hotel. He then began remonstrating to the hotel receptionist about how they could put people so far away from an local amenities, yet provide no service to assist guests access these. Having suffered a heart attack and undergone heart surgery, it was such good fortune that this kind shopkeeper took pity on me. I will never forget his kindness. Later on the same evening there was a tremendous racket of loud music, shouting, throwing things around which was coming from a room next to mine. I went out to look and it was indeed coming from the room next door. There was no member of staff available to help. I started to message the owner to seek help. No answer was given. The noise then moved. I then heard loud screaming, shouting and banging coming from somewhere upstairs. As I had arrived only that day I didn’t know if they were in an upstairs room or not. The receptionist was not at his post in reception. There was no member of staff around. I walked up the stairs with my phone videoing as I went up stairs. I wanted the owner of the property to know what was happening. When I reached the top floor there was a group of young men (
