Booked and arrived late in evening and check in was quick and smooth. Free parking on site too. Room was clean and spacious. Food in the Parsons was good, ordered just before 9pm and arrived in good time. Cheesy garlic bread was good, a good cheese pull, and the cheese and onion burger was very nice too. Bed was comfy enough for the night. Check out was quick and easy to do also. Would recommend.

Overall the stay was good! The room is very clean and nice, bathroom is very clean as well and spacious. The bed is comfortable! I just don't recommend paying for the breakfast if only is not included in the price. Bad breakfast, very bad coffe, just toast with butter and some croissant, very poor, doesn't worth that 12£ never. Go somewhere and have a good morning expresso with a decent breakfast. Restaurant food as well overpriced, and for my taste I will give a 6 mark.

Worst service I have ever encountered in the Parsons Collar. 1 hour wait for a simple starter , staff uninterested, . Unimpressed , not sure if the kitchen staff or bar staff are interested in delivering a service they should be . Shocking. Up your game

Property is lovely to stay in with really lovely rooms. the only downside for us was the size of the bed. The lodge would be exceptional if it is was king size beds instead of doubles.

We stayed here on 9/4/25 for one night before catching ferry to the Isle of Wight. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for one night. The restaurant next door was fine and had a good selection of beers and a menu with gluten free options . Overall , relatively basic but good enough for a short stay .

Shocked at how basic and worn and stained everything was. The bathroom had no toiletries, no hangers in the room, barely any tea and coffee sachets.
Room service room trays were left outside room for the two nights we stayed there.
The check in staff were helpful , however.
Had to write this review because I was so shocked , it’s not worth what we payed.
