Charme Hotel Villa Principe di Fitalia

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. It is very nice, everyone is very friendly. The indoor pool from the spa is great. The breakfast was very good and you can also choose from a menu some dishes. The coffee is also great. The room was big, good mattress and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here during our trip to Syracuse, and we had an amazing time. The hotel was clean, modern, and the decor had a lot of character. Our rooms were spacious, and the hot tubs at the back were a lovely bonus, as was use of the spa facilities and the beach club. The pool area was huge and never got too crowded, there were always plenty of sunbeds. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious (though lunch/dinner menus were quite fancy, so if you were more thinking a simple pizza, this isn’t the place to eat). We had a vegan in our party, and she was well catered for. They specially printed out a vegan menu for dinner in the evenings, and there was a table of vegan food set out every morning at breakfast. Also good gluten-free options, if you wanted that. We hired a car, and the hotel was a great base from which to go out and explore. Without a car, there’s not much in the immediate surrounding area to do. Highly recommend, would stay here again if I came back to Syracuse.

We spent over two weeks in Italy this year exploring from Rome to Venice and in between which meant a lot of walking traveling and hustling to get everything in during our time. I planned the trip to be more restful for the second half of our staff and i struggled to find a place that would be relaxing, fun, and cater to that mode I wanted to switch to. ******* served up, just the right place at the right time. The Wellness & Spa Hotel Principe di Fitalia was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful, clean, with all the modern amenities, I could have asked for. The property was never crowded, and the staff treated us like we were the only people that mattered. We received an upgrade for the stay and had our own suite with private hot tub and sauna. The food was amazing, and we were well taken care of by David and the rest of the wait staff in the beautiful dining area. Breakfast was amazing every day. The area around the hotel is very typically an Italian countryside with narrow roads, old houses and some old ruins left over from WWII. But it was easy to navigate to the private beach club our stay provided, and to Syracuse where we explored, took a boat ride into coves, shopped and more. It was also only an hour and a half to Mt. Etna, Europe's most active volcano. I would stay here again and again as the value for your maney is more than worth it. Looking for just the most relaxing stay, this is the place.

If you want to chill out and relax, this hotel is ideal. We found a very comfortable sunbed which offered shade, and where the time went I have no idea. Beautiful flowers and lemon trees, a little busier at weekends and there is a super pool for young children. Yummy breakfast, good evening meal, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Firstly I couldn’t believe how quick I had a response to a few special requested I had requested for my partners 40th birthday before arriving at the hotel, they went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble, the ladies in reception were so kind and welcoming and the hotel was so clean, and smelt amazing - our room was so spacious, clean and had everything you could want inside, I was so pleased with the amount of space I haven’t yet experience that much space for a room during our trip to Sicily before, there is a free service to take you to the city, it took 15 minutes and we were so impressed with this, the drivers are so kind too and really cared about they job they were doing . breakfast was perfect we had everything we wanted and for us location was perfect , I can honestly say I have paid a lot more per stay and never had a service like I have had here - this hotel goes above and beyond. we got to chill all day by the pool and see ortiga in the evening and have the best of both worlds we will be back, thank you so so much

Our stay was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived; we were offered a glass of prosecco by the lady on reception, which was brought to us whilst we waited in the outside seating area. The spa facilities are top notch, the gym is well equipped with everything you would expect from a modern gym. The indoor pool was fabulous, with loungers and casual seating areas, which were all very clean and hygienic. The two outdoor pools are fabulous. The larger pool was cleaned most days, so it is always hygienic & inviting. There is a plentiful supply of day beds and sun loungers around the pool, you really are spoilt for choice. The poolside bar was open during the weekend. There is also a children’s pool with a flume and water umbrella. We used the hotel minibus to visit Ortigia. You just need to pre book your departure and pick up times with reception. It is free and available for everyone staying at the hotel. The cleaning staff were very hard working and made an exceptional job of keeping our suite spotless. In the suites private garden area, there were loungers, a sofa and a coffee table along with a hot tub and sauna. Our room was modern, light and roomy with great air con in all areas. We had 2 TVs, but we didn’t use either of them as the hotel facilities and grounds were too good to spend time inside. The staff went out of their way to ensure we wanted for nothing and provided first class service throughout our stay. The waiting staff at both breakfast and dinner were very knowledgeable and helped us choose wine with our dinner on several occasions. It was my partners birthday whilst we were on holiday and they made him a birthday cake, which was very thoughtful. The food is a gastronomic delight. It is beautifully presented and well cooked. Do ask for the specials as they are such a treat. We had a rib eye steak one evening and it was mouth-watering. The staff really did make our holiday fabulous, they are attentive without being intrusive and we made some wonderful memories at Principe di Fitalia, which we will cherish forever.
