Basic accommodation- friendly and helpful manager but this is like going into a time warp. The rooms lack some of the basics that you might expect in hotels these days- eg a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, kettle etc. The shower on our room was adequate but certainly not luxurious. However, the quiet location is only 15 mins walk from the ferry and the rooms do have en-suite bathrooms ( unlike many hotels on the island). The hotel needs some investment to smarten it up. I understand it was an old naval barracks and it needs to shake of that image in order to offer 21st century accommodation

Very nice reception from the crew. Familiar and friendly just as it should be. Fantastic food and good service. The rooms were small but clean, could use a bigger space v placed in front of the bed. Top grade for the people who are on site and running it, felt like home with a new lounge area.

The rooms are small but nice and the people working there are very friendly. The bathrooms however are quite old and could use some renovation. It is a fairly big hotel with a lot of rooms and large common areas. The website could also be improved with more information about checkin time, how the key pickup works, if there are special prices for kids and if it possible have an extra bed for kids. Breakfast was nice.

Gamel skole som også beskrevet men pænt og rent. Flinkt og hjælpsomt personale. Gode senge. Morgenmad ikke med i prisen og egentligt godt nok men alt for dyrt.

De vidste ikke vi kom.
Ankom til et tomt hotel, men nøglen lå som aftalt. Vi havde bestilt morgenmad og modtog bekræftelses mail herpå. Næste morgen blev ringer telefonen klokken 08:00, men når den ikke da vi sover. Modtager efterfølgende en SMS fra hotellet “ville bare høre om alt var ok?”
Vi kommer ned til en tom morgenmadsrestaurent og kunne fortsat ikke finde noget personale på hotellet. Ringer til hotellet som siger at de ikke var klar over at vi var der, de var også overraskede over at værelset var klar og der var ingen morgenmad og det kunne ikke laves, da personalet havde fri.

Jeg var i kontakt med hotellet inden ankomst, og det var meget behageligt at vide at man var ventet, og at vi bare kunne checke ind når vi ville. Vi ankom desværre til et iskoldt værelse, som da vi kom retur var ret fugtigt, efter ikke at have været opvarmet længe.
Sengene var ok. Badeværelset var decideret ulækkert, med mug og skimmel på badeforhæng og i hjørnerne. Skraberen til fliserne har man slet ikke lyst til at røre.
At kalde det et hotel er noget af en tilsnigelse - det minder mere om et gammelt og slidt vandrerhjem.
Det er absolut ikke de 950 kr. værd som vi betalte.
