Fabulous area. Wonderfully quiet in March, no doubt far busier later in the year. The hotel room was great for a couple. There was a set of bunk beds in the room, could imagine it being cramped with four people though. Very warm, very clean and comfy, the shower was excellent, very powerful! Lovely and homely warm fire in the restaurant. The food was wonderful, seemingly fresh to order, lots of options for evening and breakfast. The choice of ales wasn’t really a choice, i.e. just one - Landlord. I’d definitely go back to the hotel.

Lovely stay the people were so friendly Room was cosy warm and super clean. Towels were so soft and fluffy. Food was so good and very reasonably priced. Wish we could have stayed longer as we were visiting Observatory for that night. So can't wait till our next visit.

Room clean and comfortable, food lovely, staff are all amazing and very friendly. Shout out to Alex(Daisy) who was exeptionally helpful. Even moving his car so we could park ours. We were too late for the evening meal but there was no objecting to us eating our own snacks in the bar. Would definitely reccomend a visit.

Great stay thanks , excellent food , great friendly staff , and most importantly, warm with a real fire burning, I personally don’t get asking people what they want for breakfast the day before, yes I know it cuts down on wastage, I’m a retired catering manager, how are you supposed to know what you want for breakfast the day before?

Couldn’t fault The Pheasant Inn, staff we’re amazing, always happy to go the extra mile, room was spacious and spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, food awesome and what a beautiful place to be! Was it value for money? Absolutely! Thank you so much the Kershaw family and staff.

The Pheasant Inn owners and staff have been amazing yet again. We have had a great couple of nights there yet again. Family run and nothing is too much trouble. Roaring fires at this time of year, keep the bar warm and cozy. Robin's food was as good as ever, so much to choose from. Thank you for another great stay. Hopefully be back soon

Another wonderful weekend at this lovely pub! The welcome was warm. Our room was comfy and cosy. The food was fabulous (both breakfast and evening meals) The staff and service were superb! Didn't want our weekend to end and will definitely go again! Thank you 😊
