Had a lovely stay in room 8 of the Pheasant Inn , a little cramped but very comfortable and clean . Nice food in the main restaurant/pub and super friendly staff. Very close to Keilder resouvior and the Observatory, great location. Would recommend.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Best food we had in our week touring Northumberland! Room was very comfy and super clean. Good location for visiting observatory…only 20mins away….."…………….. We would highly recommended The Pheasant Inn!

Would definitely stay here again. Room was comfy, tidy and warm - great night's sleep. Breakfast was superb and the evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Great location and very pleasant and helpful hosts too. Happy days!!

Fantastic break away- the staff were so helpful and friendly. Amazing food and good atmosphere in the pub. It made for a really relaxing stay. Can't recommend highly enough. We look forward to coming back to enjoy the stay again in the future.

We had a great 3 day stay here very recently in October, the hosts and all of the staff were wonderful. The food is excellent, and the presentation of it was like something out of masterschef. We cannot recommend the food highly enough. All in all a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area and Kielder water and forest.

Fabulous little pub. Great food and accommodation. The pub is nestled in breathtaking scenery, 20 minutes drive from the Keilder Observatory. Excellent service from all the staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choice ad the evening meal well priced for quality food. Would love to return.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Great location. Easy to find. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. Dinner menu is comprehensive. Good selection of beers and wines. Nice warm room. Plenty of parking space.

Beautiful accommodation with really comfortable beds in a quiet serene location for a good nights sleep. Garden cottage was really well equipped and tastefully decorated. We had breakfast on two occasions which was beautiful and just what was needed for plenty of walking during the day. (Full English, smoked salmon) We also had varied evening meals which were superb (especially the ox cheek😁) Service was faultless, attentive and funny (Emma I believe her name was. Great sense of humour) Highly recommended John & Yvonne

The room was immaculate and very cosy. We had a main course for dinner before heading out early in the evening. There was a good choice and it was perfectly cooked and well presented. Breakfast was well received and finished off our overnight stay perfectly.
