Excellence Oyster Bay - Adults Only All Inclusive

If your are looking for a intimate get away to have fun this is definitely the place. The rooms are beautiful and easily set up for privacy. The staff were all.engaging and friendly. They really made the stay even more fantastic. Carlene our singing Hibachi was an experience and her meal was best yet. Sashaina our concierge was our first encounter & last and I am telling you she made our stay fabulous. That girl at the egg station, David an Princess of the entertainment group ALL amazing ppl. We got love from every staff we encountered. All this and more made our honeymoon really an experience.

When we booked our stay it was for nine and my husband’s honeymoon. First time traveling out of the country so we were super excited. When we got to the resort the staff was very polite. We got taken to our room which was clean and tidy. The room was a bit warm, but we assumed that because it needed time to cool down we didn’t complain! The next morning we woke up we were sweating and it was still hot, but the AC was set on 65. I guarantee it was not at all 65. We then brought it to the front desks attention because it said for any problems to let them know and they will fix it as soon as possible. We were told that there are other rooms affected as well but they were working on it and would take a look. We then spent the day at the pool outside our room exploring the resort. Later that evening we go back and it is still around 80 in our room even though it’s still set at 65. We left it alone and just dealt with it for another night since it was late. This happened for the next 5 days everyday getting the same answer of it being several rooms having the issue. The resort staff had also mentioned they have maybe half the people they normally do, so we did not see an issue with changing rooms. Finally Travis and I forgot the other man’s name but he was a supervisor was our saving grace even when it was a bit late.. they both were amazing! The supervisor was finally able to get us a room Friday night sadly we were leaving Sunday morning. We were stuck in a hot room for 5 nights which I definitely see as unacceptable considering the amount of money it was to stay at this resort.. and was mentioned that the AC was available at that. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this location. After talking with the front desk many got aggravated and rude when we even mentioned the problem when we were told to tell them in the first place.. Also the amount of items that were unavailable due to them running out was extensive. For this to be an all inclusive resort they definitely lacked due to a lot of their items not even being available for several days not just one.. Sadly I am disappointed with my experience here and would not recommend it to my friends or family.

The service was the best ever, from arrival to departure. The staff’s customer service was outstanding. The level of service was excellent. The accommodations were top quality and they didn’t miss on anything. Sleeping in wasn’t an issue, room service was great and delivery was expeditiously. There were always activities but it was still peaceful.

This was our 2nd year back to Excellence Oyster Bay and we always have an amazing time! We are so sad to be back home but looking forward to going back! Excellent service is an understatement, they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy! Mordrian “CC” from entertainment is nothing but AMAZING! She our trip well worth it! We went to Excellence Oyster Bay 9/21/24 - 9/29/24, where we met other couples that we travel with every September. This is our 2nd trip to this resort (We just love how friendly the Jamaican people are). We have been to one other Excellence, which is Excellence El Carmen (had a great time). Our favorite place in the evening before and after dinner was the Martini Bar. Their Espresso Martini is great. Next is the entertainment. One of the staff members that stood out was Warren Brown, who is the Entertainment Manager (I believe is his title). He is always so friendly and you can tell he loves his job. We really enjoyed the Bob Marley and Reggae shows. Warren always stopped by to chat when he seen us and made sure we were having a good time. There were some other employees that stood out but I didn’t get their names (I’m horrible with names). The pool side bar service, pool bar and swim-up bar were great. Now onto the food. Zenith was my favorite (club restaurant). Food was excellent. Oregano and Lobster house were good as well. Other than that wasn’t impressed with the others. I wish they had more lunch options. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return. Excellence is a great option and pricing was great. Give it a try.

Everything was above and beyond at the Excellence Collection, Montego Bay! The location is perfectly settled halfway between the airport and where many excursions take place in Ocho Rios. All of the staff is wonderful and friendly and we were always greeted warmly with excellent hospitality! I would say the one area of improvement could be the Grill restaurant, the service was extremely slow and food mediocre. Other than that our stay was phenomenal, definitely recommend the spa and excursions through Seasons Tours!

This resort is absolutely amazing! Great food, service, entertainment, and facilities! Kevin was an amazing person and waiter. This is a new resort and must try. All of the Excellence properties are awesome. Go and see Kevin in the Jamaican restaurant. We will be back!

We recently returned from our third 21 night trip of the year where on this occasion we stayed at Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica. This was our fifth stay at the property and our 56th stay at an Excellence Collection Property. It was our ninth stay at a property on the wonderful island of Jamaica which we love so much because of the true Caribbean vibe the island has coupled with the warm and friendly staff and the wonderful food For some background information this was our 57th trip to the Caribbean and Mexico as it is an area of the World we love to travel to. On previous trips to Jamaica as well as staying at Excellence Oyster Bay we have stayed at other well-known brands such as Couples, Secrets and Sandals as well a property in Rose Hall which has since had a change of ownership a few times We never forget how lucky we are to travel the way we do and think that having clocked up so many nights at so many resorts all over the World that we are a fairly good judge of what customers are looking for which is ever-changing Just to put this review into context the lead up to this trip was particularly traumatic as my elderly mum-in-law was admitted to hospital a few weeks before we were due to travel and sadly died just more than a week before we were due to fly. We elected to go on our trip as it is what she would have wanted us to do, so we arranged for the funeral to take place later in the week we returned to the UK Personally, I feel we could not have chosen a better place to start the grieving process than at Excellence Oyster Bay which we know so well from previous stays Our flight across the Atlantic was very good indeed on one of TUI’s Dreamliners. Our passage through the airport on arriving at Montego Bay was extremely smooth with the mostly automated customs system using the C5 Form which you complete online before you travel. We quickly located our transfer company representative (Seasons Tours) and we were soon on our way After a 45 minute drive we arrived at the main building and were greeted with the customary glass of bubbly and cold towel and were asked to relax inside in the AC. After a short wait Omar one of their Butler Team arrived to whisk us away to the Villa section for our private check in. We were pleased to see that on this occasion we had been allocated Villa 2 for a change as all our previous Villa stays had been in Villa 1 – change can be good and on this occasion for us it was More about the Villa later Our stay was from 8th to 29th September where occupancy was in the region of 60% OK if I may I will break this review up into different sections and cover off each item in turn Villa In our opinion the villas are fantastic and we felt very lucky to be staying in one for a fourth time.
