I really wanted to like this hotel as it is convenient for us. I chose it because of the high-star ratings, but I should have read the 2-star ratings before choosing the hotel. In general, the stay was disappointing. We checked out after one night to go to the Marriott nearby. We will not return. Here are the pros and cons to help future travelers so that they are not inconvenienced as I and my husband were for a 3-day getaway. General: Hotel is more like a 5-star youth hostel. Cost is high for what you get and compared with nearby hotels. Pros: Clean room and nicely appointed, friendly staff Cons: • No front desk staff at check-in or after hours so expect to wait at the door at check-in and no help if you need anything at night or if there is an emergency • Very small rooms and very Spartan – good for college kids or solo travelers with no expectations • Bed looks nice, but no real bottom sheet so the sheet becomes loose and crumbled as soon as you lie down, making it impossible to sleep. I had to straighten it out several times during the night and did not have a good night sleep. Night stand is a small ledge which is useless. • AC unit is very noisy and does not really work • Walls are very thin. We can hear our next door neighbor talk • Bathroom light comes on with loud fan as soon as you walk in and stayed on until you turn it off • Shower is very small with no door leaving floor wet after shower • No dresser, no ironing board, no closet. You will have to live out of your suitcase for the duration. No other space to put your stuff except for the bed and a small bench. They do not even have an extra stand for a second suitcase. • No good lighting; room is dark if overcast • No desk to work in room. The desk is a ledge of 8 in; no lobby to work out of the room; and the café downstairs does not allow laptops in its restaurant • No refrigerator, no ice bucket • Coffee in the lobby is cold at 7:00 am • Coffee in bakery is weak and lukewarm
