I stayed at the hotel with my two children, who were both below 13 years of age. Because of that, we were only allowed to be in the outside pool area, and in the Kelly's room. The indoor pools were off limits. Here come the positives and the negatives of our stay: + The positives: - Superb location. Right on the Skrea beach with shallow waters for children to play in (during the warm time of the year). It's lovely to take a walk along the beach and look at the many seashells even on overcast days. - Quite nice breakfast. We really enjoyed the variety of foods: cold cuts, breads, fruits, veggies, cereals, yoghurts, desserts, cheese, jams, eggs, etc. - Hotel's guests have free of change access to the public swimming pool "Klitterbadet". My children absolutely loved swimming there and playing with the big blown up water snake that one can climb on. - I liked the games and books in our room. - The negatives: - The bathroom was very small. I didn't like the shower curtains. Surely a fancy hotel can afford shower cabins? Every time one of us took a shower, the shower curtain would stick to our bodies. Furthermore, there was nothing in the bathroom to collect the shower water with. There was not even a proper shower mat to stand on after taking a shower or floor heating to dry up the wet floor. The water temperature kept changing as well: from warm to cool, cold, then back to warm again. - Our armchair was semi-broken. The cushion kept falling through the missing/broken parts of the seat. - I didn't like the plastic plant in our room. - I didn't enjoy the fact that my children were not allowed to enjoy all of the swimming areas. And those parts of the pool that they were allowed to be in were overrun by other guests. The fact that there was access to "Klitterbadet" saved our days. - The sofa that we slept on was squeaking with every turn we made. So, all in all pretty mixed feelings about our stay. I probably wouldn't bother going there again.
