Changed for the worse. Too many people and too much focus on charging money for everything. We visited 5 years ago and back then the experience was much better and much more personal. We had hoped for a similar experience, but the feeling was very different.

It was okay.. but not worth the expensive price tag. The rooms are quite dated, the shower was quite bad (size, layout, shower head, etc.). The rooms were warm with no way to cool down. The floors in the room were dusty, dirty. Fixtures were old. Tv old and no good options. The breakfast was amazing though!!!

Virkelig hjælpsomt og sødt personale. Værelserne var meget flotte og rengjorte, der var ekstra håndklæder i spaområdet. Alt i alt et fantastisk ophold, hvor man kan slappe af og bare nyde tilværelsen med god mad, god service og en masse selvforkælelse

We are here now. We are Americans using the Volvo Overseas Delivery program. We are cruising around the west coast of Sweden for a few days and staying here for two nights. The hotel was booked by the Volvo US based travel agent. Turns out she just used *******. She got us the cheapest room available with no amenities. Meaning no meals nor restaurant reservations and no access to the spa. When we got here, Marcus was manning both the Reception Desk and the Lobby Bar, which charmingly are the same. I mentioned that I suspected our travel agent maybe didn’t do what we asked of her. We said we were willing to upgrade, could he help us? Marcus is wonderful. The hotel is fully booked. We’ll stay in our basic room tonight. Tomorrow we get their last remaining Coastal view room. He got us reservations to each restaurant , late yet that’s what we prefer. This took hours. He wanted to have a good experience. While we were waiting, our server in the Familla restaurant sat with us and explained how the restaurant worked, how the breakfast buffet was set up for tomorrow and how to get coffee or tea quickly. Awesome. So, I don’t understand the other reviews that complain about the service here. Everyone has been outstanding. Especially Marcus. And everyone else too. Thank you also to all the wonderful Swedes we have met today. I understand now why you are always so kind and happy.

Opreklameret hotel
Ok hotel, men finder det lidt opreklameret. Droppede spa dag 2, da det ikke rigtig hittede hos os. Udendørs spaen var fin, de andre ligegyldige. Det var ofte lidt for proppet til vores smag. Maden i restaurant Famille var til gengæld meget lækker.
Godt råd - gå tidligt til morgenbuffet - ellers kan du ikke få et bord, hvilket burde kunne styres bedre. Deres personale burde rydde ledige borde lidt hurtigere til næste gæst og gerne fjerne brugt service, mens man sidder der. Det skete ikke. Pool-bord og Shuffle-board stod skævt, så det ødelagde glæden ved at spille. Vil langt hellere anbefale Hotel Skansen i Båstad.
