Pleasure to meet and greet with the amazing owner of Transit Motel. Gloria Samana Ausage and her team were very helpful and friendly to our family. We were able to check in early without any issues. Even though the room was not ready for us due to the previous guests were still checking out. Gloria and team were able to accommodate our last minute request. Thank you Gloria and Transit Motel for your generous hospitality and great customer service. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Samoa.

If you pay attention to the name, then you will be in the right mindset to stay at the Transit Hotel. It is a simple and clean place to stay when arriving or leaving from the international airport with flights mostly leaving through the night and early morning. It is close to both the airport and the ferry terminal. Rooms and linen are clean and the beds are adequate for a short nights sleep after you arrive late at night or leave very early in the morning. Air conditioning works really well and they offer transport to the airport if needed.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in and I have done quite a bit of travelling in poorer countries. The room was filthy - the sheets had been slept in and one was torn, the towels were badly stained and the walls were stained. The room stank. The pool is a half-filled over chlorinated joke. The "restaurant" is dirty and had very little to offer. What we had was almost inedible. Yes cheap but pay peanuts and get monkeys. I would never stay here again.

Well it’s about 100 Aud a night - the Sheraton over the road is 111 - room smelt damp on entry - booking dot com says cash only but you can use credit card at 4% more. There is no bar as advertised but there is a restaurant if you want to wait an hour for overpriced food from a grumpy server/chef. Room is comfortable after the air freshener but there’s a local nightclub which is 1km away but sound carries😞 No tv nothing to do but drink overpriced beers and wait for your flight - free transfer is good as is Joyce at the front desk but can’t do it again😎

Only had a few hours here before our 2:00am checkin at the airport. Very close and convenient. Nice staff. Very basic accommodation, but the floor needed a good washing
