Bathroom door didn’t shut, fridge was dirty, exposed wires, dusty furniture, damp all over, sheets were dirty, ceiling tile exposed , no bolt on door to safety lock

I made a reservation at this motel from June 27 (3pm PM) to June 29. I live in Montreal, Canada. I forgot to evaluate the trip, because I left by car. It took me 8h to get there. So instead of arriving at the motel on Friday evening, I arrived on Saturday morning at 7 AM. The agent who was there allowed me to take a room as they had already cancelled my reservation. But I made it very clear to him that I would only be paying for Saturday night, so only one night, and that no other charges would be taken from my credit card. Surprisingly, when I arrived in Canada, I was stunned to find that they had charged me for the night I wasn't there, i.e. for Friday night. These people are not to be trusted with your credit card number. They don't keep their word. I'm going to complain to ******* to stop doing business with them. I used ******* to make my reservation

They're trying. Our room was pretty clean. Bed wasn't terrible. no bugs. Jacuzzi was nice. They do charge a 50 dollar deposit in cash for jacuzzi rooms just a heads up. The toilet rocked. The cold water barely worked in the sink. The shower head had water shooting out the back of it which soaked the bathroom. But with everyone else overcharging you really can't beat the prices.

Bug crawling across counter at checkout. Somekind of insect cocoons on ceiling of room. Generally unfit for humans.
