Quality Inn & Suites Winter Park Village Area

There are about 225 rooms. The HAD one ice machine for all those rooms. However it broke and the staff didn't think they would replace it. After checking in to get to the elevator, or even the 1st floor rooms there is a long ramp. There are two luggage carts (remember 225 rooms) in very poor condition to get your luggage to the first floor. There are two elevators. Today one was out of service. Free breakfast? Forget about it. There were some slimy looking hardboiled eggs, a few muffins, and toast. No yogurt. A few apples. Butter, but only strawberry cream cheese (strawberry? Have you ever tried strawberry cream cheese? The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked fine. The bathroom was a disgrace; the toilet lid comes off. I could go on but what's the point. Cheap, yes, and that's it.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Absolutely horrible disgusting place. Hotel also charged a $100 cleaning fee but couldnt provide any pictures or details. Will never use this hotel for business again and told all our fellow companies we are working with to pull their rooms if they are staying there. Should have done my research first

Dirty room, phone didn’t work, broken drywall, rusted doors, broken toilet handle, roaches in the dinning area, Non-smoking room but the whole hallway smells like cigarette smoke. Debris on the floors. This place was disgusting. I’ve stayed in hotels in 3rd world countries that weren’t this bad. The only positive aspect of this hotel was polite staff.

We stayed for 4 nights. The worst Quality Inn ever!!! The first night we complained about the smell of POT. They said they would call security. We had requested a NON-smoking room. The entire room smelled like we were the ones smoking. The bathroom had bugs coming down the wall, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - it was sticky and had hair stuck to my feet when i got into bed. Each night was the same. When we left, the elevator had a cup with coffee all over the floor. Garbage was lefty on the ledges of hallway and when i went to grab a cup of coffee to go, it was empty. I complained again when we left and she said she'd let the assist mgr. know and we might get a call if they decide to do something to reimburse us. We got NO CALL! The entire hotel had a stink about it. Don't book a stay here, you will be very disappointed.

The canceled my reservation even though I did the pay at hotel option when booking This means you pay when you arrive ( additional fee for this option) 3 days before the wanted to charge my card, the was unsuccessful and cancelled my reservation Leaving us on the street The area isn’t all that appealing It’s not easy to access from the street The hotel itself seemed to be in fair condition

I lived in Orlando 25 years ago and this was an upscale conference hotel. I booked last week because the location was perfect for my needs. I was a little shocked when I arrived as the grounds were in a state of disrepair the cheap price was starting to make sense. I almost left, Im glad I didnt. I had messed up my reservation and the staff worked so hard to fix it and had great patience they had to give me three separate reservations. The hotel is worn and very dated but clean the lobby was mopped every day and the breakfast area was spotless. Same with the rooms very old and dated but clean, Very nice linens and mattress. The room was large and had a lake view.plus micro wave and fridge. The staff is amazing and does the best with what they have to work with. The hotel still has good bones and agreat location its a shame the owners will not up date it. I would pay 3 or 4 times the current rate if brought up to todays standards

In overall satisfaction Choice Hotels has always been my go to hotels. I booked two rooms since we were in town to go to a concert at the Kia Center in Orlando, six miles away. This location however need major TLC, new furniture and a general change in vibe. Dirty looking, shabby and outdated exterior, surrounded by homeless people and not so great area. The registration area and lobby not inviting. As a choice member, not greeted as such, although the registration clerk was affable and informative. To get to the elevators, the area around the elevator it smelled like a subway station at 3 in the morning mixed with the smell of pot or electrical wiring. Hallways and the rooms super dated and furniture has seen much better days. On the fifth floor, our only exterior window had a major crack on the glass. With that said, the mattress and pillows were super comfortable and the ac was superior. Had the best sleep ever. The bathroom was functional and clean, a bit shabby but did it's job. My group did not want to eat the free breakfast, too many negatives and lack of equipment cleanliness. Would I stay there again...NO. But for the price and the convenience to the arena, a strong selling point.

The staff was wonderful! The hotel needs some more TLC but it’s clean, comfortable & cheap. I stayed about 4 months ago & did not plan on staying there again but needed to go back for its location to my company. I was very happy to see a difference. Well done, keep it going!
