We were very impressed with the serenity and beauty of the lodge. The cooking facilities were a real bonus and it was great not having tv in the rooms. They provided snowshoes for a nice trail experience and Rex (the host) was an informative and laid back guy. We will be back to see another season. There's lots to do in the area even though spring events don't start till mid-May.

Very friendly staff. Quiet location. Beautiful property. Cooking facilities were awesome!
We liked the room-darkening curtains. WiFi was great. Nice library of books and travel books.
Decor was very nice.
Views of the woods and trails nearby were awesome.

Beautiful Snowy Escape
This was a beautiful lodge, especially amazing if you enjoy nature and want to get away from the city. It's like a lodge straight out of a Christmas movie if you go when it has snowed. The property was just a beautiful area to explore and they had snow shoes that we were able to borrow to aid in the exploration. The room was cozy and the hosts were welcoming, as well as were quick to respond when we had questions. The view was beautiful and the interior was nicely decorated, and very clean. Overall, it was an amazing experience and a breathtaking place to stay.

A relaxed and comfortable rustic lodge outside of town where we met a lot of great people and explored the beautiful area. We filled a week with fun adventures, enjoyed the breakfast food and kitchen priveleges as well as snowshoeing and aurora viewing on the property. Lots of great things to do around Fairbanks.

Northern Sky Lodge was absolutely euphoric!! It’s a bit sketchy to drive there but absolutely worth it. As you drive down their private driveway you wind around the corner to their beautiful wooden lodge nestled in the middle of the woods. It’s so quiet and serene. The rooms are so inviting, warm, and comfortable.

Wish we could have stayed forever!!
It was amazing!! Euphoric! The drive up there is a bit sketchy this time of the year but is absolutely worth it!! As you turn off the highway you drive down a private driveway through the trees to the beautiful lodge nestled in the middle of the woods. The cabins are comfortable and warm!

Shared cabin style with beautiful property!
This lodge was a shared space cabin style but also quite private. Private bathroom and sleeping area. Shared dining, living room and kitchen. Our fav part was the gorgeous cabin kitchen breakfast laid out on pretty rustic dishes. It is off the beaten path and not touristy. We felt like we were being hosted by friends. Gorgeous property too.
