Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

Room was not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere, black mould by the windows and curtains as well as in the bathroom, there was thick dust on the walls, the bathtub drain was clogged and the towels provided had stains. I didn't like the fragrance of the hand and body wash provided. Breakfast was very good. The blossom restaurant is spacious with friendly staff. Overall the hotel was is in a good location and has lovely views, however for the price the room was very basic.

Very nice location

We had a lovely stay at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa. The location is absolutely fabulous, with wonderful views over the lake and a peaceful, countryside atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing break. Check-in was super easy thanks to the online system, and we found the whole arrival process smooth and efficient. Our room was cosy and very comfortable — if perhaps a little overcrowded with furniture. A few pieces could be removed to give a greater sense of space, but overall it was a pleasant place to unwind. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with a great shower and everything we needed. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool — especially the designated adults-only time slots, which offered a calm and quiet experience. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of tasty options to suit all preferences. Dinner was equally enjoyable, with a well-thought-out menu and very friendly, attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout. At night, the surroundings were blissfully quiet and we were even able to sleep with the window open, which was a real treat. Ample, secure parking on-site was another big plus. All in all, a restful and enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting. We would definitely return.

Another mostly lovely stay at one of our favourite holiday locations. The only downside was the noisy Asian wedding with very loud drums and their music from 9am until 11pm on the Sunday, this spoilt the day for us.

This is one of the worst places to go to and 95% is because of the staff. Requested time critical information which never came resulting in the loss of a time share. When chased I was given a barrage of abuse and hung up on. Karen didn’t want to deal with it. VERY poor customer service. Looking on reviews and seeing everyone is selling their time shares I think I dodged a bullet and can see why if this is the way customers are treated.

My stay at Rutland Hall Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were friendly and professional. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate.
