There's no reception, which can be dangerous to live alone. For my experience, stranger knocking on my door hard and constantly around 11:30 pm, which is terrifying!! Police came the other night for unknown reason. As they are checking the monitor, we are asked to wait at the bar and not able to go back to our room for around an hour. Good location though, very convenient for everything.

Great location, close to the main train stations, the shops and bars, and the cathedral. It’s a decent pub with friendly staff, an amazing range of craft and traditional beers, and good food. The value of the rooms was incredible. I’d 100% recommend this place.

Central right in the middle of everything so perfect for getting everywhere in central Exeter. It is an odd coaching inn so stairs. Room was very well equipped with everything you need. We were in the snug and hey guys what it was snug, me and my hubby who are cuddly foils the need a little small for us. We booked it so just a note not a complaint. The lady who checked us in was amazing.

Amazing!
Me and my boyfriend just fancied getting away for a night. We usually stay in oremier inns or travelodge but fancied a change and what a good change it was!! Thoroughly enjoy pur time, wish it didnt end! Will definitely be back.

A great find in the heart of the city
Beautiful room, really good use of the space and real character. Staff really friendly and the location couldn't be better. The rooms have a separate entrance to the pub underneath which also made things just feel easier. From recyclable glass bottles of water and a coffee machine in the room, to a great shower and comfy bed, a really lovely stay. You're warned about the noise and whilst you can hear noise from the bar below it's really not excessive and didn't stop me getting a great night's sleep. The neighbouring guests made far more noise in the hallway outside to be honest! I'd definitely recommend, and stay again when I'm in Exeter next.

central and cosy, i could not of been happier with my stay. for the cheapest place i could book on the same day i wanted to stay turks head really surprised me with the quality of the room
