Wir waren für einen Tag in Evora und wurden sehr angenehm begrüßt.
Der Hotelier hat uns wirklich alles sehr gut und freundlich erklärt und die wichtigsten Punkte auf einer Karte für uns markiert.
Das Zimmer war gut und schön eingerichtet. Das Bett eventuell etwas zu weich und das Zimmer leicht hellhörig aber alles in allem wirklich klasse !
Das Frühstück ebenfalls sehr angenehm.

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. The staff were so helpful from offering restaurant suggestions and a map of places to visit. I slept in one day and they went above and beyond to still offer me breakfast. The customer service was amazing and I highly suggest staying here if you are in Evora. A charming little gem. Thank you again!

Really enjoyed staying in this friendly quirky hotel. Within the walls of Evora it is an easy walk to all of the sights. Comfortable room, and so quiet and dark, slept really well. Big soft towels in the bathroom. Staff all very friendly and helpful, nice bar, lovely wines and tapas. Great breakfast, sad to leave after three night stay.

Wonderful hotel in Evora! The hotel was well located, quiet part of town but near all sites we wanted to visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean and had a lovely view of the courtyard. The hotel’s breakfasts were delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The underground parking garage was a real plus because driving and parking in the old town could be challenging. The hotel is just inside the old walls. We would definitely highly recommend it! We stayed 2 nights.

This small hotel is charming and friendly. The staff couldn’t do enough to assist guests. The location is central. My room was well appointed with easy to access PowerPoints. No kettle but I had my own. Bar drinks and tapas were excellent. Shower had good pressure

This is the perfect hotel for a short stay in beautiful Evora. A short walk to all the main attractions and restaurants, generous & spacious common areas with a bar open till midnight plus generous well-appointed rooms, and super friendly support team (thanks to Marissa especially who was one of the best hosts we came across in our 12 day trip across Portugal). Off street parking at 10Eur is available and very welcome. Ticked all the boxes for us.

Excellent location with its own parking. Walking distance to all the sights. The welcome staff were amazing. Room was spacious, clean and with everything we needed. Lovely outside dining or for cocktails. We were sad to stay there only one night.

Posizione ottima appena dentro le mura con parcheggio a disposizione per euro 10 al giorno. In alternativa si può parcheggiare fuori le mura a brevissima distanza. La camera è comoda, abbastanza ampia così come il bagno. Il personale molto gentile ed accogliente , ci hanno fornito molte indicazioni sulla città. La colazione molto buona con scelte dolci e salate e possibilità di avere uova e pan cakes cucinati al momento. La posizione èolto comoda, il centro di Evora non è molto grande e si va a piedi ovunque. Nelle vicinanza ci sono anche molti ristoranti. Consiglio vivamente questo albergo

We chose Albergaria Do Calvário based on previous reviews. The hotel is just inside the old city walls which makes for easy walking to the main sites in the old town, and to a variety of restaurants. Limited parking is available at the hotel and on the street. We had a large rental car so did have to park just outside the main walls on one evening. Our room was spacious, with a king size bed and well appointed marble bathroom. Breakfast was pleasant with a selection of fruit, breads, cheese, cake and eggs to order and we ate outside in the courtyard. Staff were very helpful in booking restaurants in advance of our arrival, and advising on sites in town and in the region. The extensive suggestions in the brochure the hotel provides before you arrive is a great way to plan ahead. We stayed for three nights to have two days to visit Mavao, enjoy a wine tasting at Herdade do Esporao and visit Monsaraz. We booked the wine tasting before we left as there is only one tasting in English per day. Mavao was well worth the drive. The Alentejo is a very interesting region and was one of the highlights of our holiday in Portugal. Albergaria Do Calvário is a perfect base in the lovely town of Évora.
